Question: Is Auchinleck a good long term general? He could be a 5* general with leader skill. Only till midgame

How about Leeb? He can be better than Govorov. In fact I was just thinking about making a Leeb vs Govorov thread. Govorow has that 6th star but the fact that Leeb can be upgraded to higher movement and his skil set could make him better than Govorov. My thoughts exactly, but I feel like Govorov being damage general whil Leeb is the blitzkrieg alternative

My thoughts exactly, but I feel like Govorov being damage general whil Leeb is the blitzkrieg alternative Leeb has Plain Ft and Leader which can be maxed out. The last slot could be Explosive or Accuracy. Total : 3 dmg skill. For Govorov, Jungle Ft and Barrage are half each, since they aren't that useful. I would take Rumor for the last. Total : 2 dmg skill. Also, Leeb has more HP. Now we need upgrade cost spreadsheet.

Mobility isn't as critical as it used to be because you can upgrade it via the tech tree. If you are talking long term, you are likely going to have all upgrades. Govorov will be able to keep up, especially in rocket artillery.

You can find it almost everywhere.

I’ve seen high level cover ability in some invasions and exercises. It is crazy when it triggers, but you can’t rely on it because it doesn’t trigger that often.

Sorta like buffed defense tactic in WC3. 90% is very good damage reduction but the 12% chance does not look reliable. Would need luck for it to tigger when we need it.

Cover is one of those abilities where it feels like it triggers all the time against you, but when you take it, it seems like it never procs. You hate fighting a general with it, but if you use it you are keenly aware of how rarely it fires.
