Hello...Iam a new modder that will release a great mod soon ...but i have faced some problems while making my first mod which is: 1- When i change the price of generals (That i have replaced them with another generals but same id) and test the game the generals slots be blank and then the game get stopped. so i need a way to change prices without game get crashed.2- Some generals i want to replace them in the map but i don't know how...ex: my general Bayezid is in France Land because i replace the character with Marmont but i want him to be in Ottoman Empire.3- I want to know how to open and edit .btl files to edit borders.P.S.: Please i don't want anyone to tell me go to this thread it has your answers ...Atleast let new modders get benefit from this Thread ...Also if anyone has another problems please feel free to type in comment so if i knew how to solve it or anyone ..we will help you and Thanks for reading!

I know how to remove generals in hex, but I don't know how to replace them since when I do it, it crashes in mine.
For btl files, you need to use hex editor.

I know how to remove generals in hex, but I don't know how to replace them since when I do it, it crashes in mine. For btl files, you need to use hex editor. Dobi have to know hexadimical numbers to be able to change borders? BTW if I couldn't edit borders in my mod can I use your maps in new age

In order to find the borders in the hex you have to find the location on where many numbers are located. The border goes from left to right, the numbers represent the country codes. Like France is 00 and the UK is 01, now finding the country code is very easy since if you go further down the counting continues.

In order to find the borders in the hex you have to find the location on where many numbers are located. The border goes from left to right, the numbers represent the country codes. So if I found the country code for ottomans 04 what to do to edit the borders ...if u have screen shot while editing New Age Borders

can you give me hex editor download link that u use please Winhex, 010, hexinator....there are lots of them, just google so how to edit borders with those numbers...i mean like i want ottoman borders under vienna and have crimea and egypt and algeria ...i though the map would appear infront of me and i edit the borders using the mouse only (bec. i don't know a single info about hex no. and how to change it)
