I should admit that ET have done their homework. Though there are many skills known to us from WC3, some of them were redone completely. One self evident example - Leader skills in WC3 and WC4!

And what do you think could be the best combination of skills for 3 EC generals, if they were in the game? I'm personally not sure about Blitzkrieg for my strongest tank general. It is a great skill, but usually your best tank commander is so powerful, that it is overabundant at times. So, maybe, I would choose these 5 skills for my EC tank general: Panzer Leader Armored Assault Rumor Explosives and some terrain bonus or Ace forces the second one would be a Navy/Art hybrid with Fleet leader Art leader Accuracy Rumor and Sailor If our tank general is so powerful that blitzkrieg is not as valuable than perhaps the same apples for rumor as well. Could remove rumor so we can add both plain fighting and ace forces than.

Rumor can help us to involve them in serious actions right from the start. I have to agree with andrei - after all pros and cons, imo, Rumor wins the day (over additional damage). But when all our team members are strong enough (or we have other team members with rumor), terrain bonus+AF is a good decision...

All my generals are strong enough but I still not ready to trade Rumor. Domination mode is really difficult same it was in EW5. I have no idea how to pass missions like Exercise in Panama Channel without Rumor. Well of course You can use pay-to-win strategy. Simply purchase a lot of medals and upgrade the rank of Your every general up to Marshal. Or to save medals for months to earn without paying real money. But why if You can use tactical skills with the same result?

I agree... Rumor is a great tactical skill. I say only, that the best tank general in the team (like Guderian) can be used as a pure battering ram, supported by other generals with Rumor. I think 2-4 generals with Rumor should be enough. In this case your Guderian with Jungle fighting, for example, has + 37 points attack points, but the overall strategy is not compromised.

Yes, it is good alternative. But my Guderian wasn't the beast from the very beginning And now I can give Rumor to someone else while Guderian will take JF/PF/MF. But it means I need to send this new general with Rumor in the first raw. My other generals either have no room for Rumor or not strong to serve as the first raw general. My strategy especially in domination is to lower the morale (or even disable) with Rumor and flanking with my top generals so my weaker generals which I haven't fully upgraded could hit with minimum losses. This strategy gives me good surbivability for the whole team.

I have not use any rumor on my tank generals. I have them on my two artillery generals though and it is working very well for me. Tank generals needs to kill things fast and move on. Just go full damage. Kill move kill end of turn. Repeat.
Rumor on two artillery generals will help. Unlike wc3 artillery will not be your main source of damage. They can be place on naval units to help with difficult naval missions or domination missions which allows you to have up to 12 generals later on.

Jep leader skills are awesome, though they give me traumas. I like how they added Assult skills, in WC3 they were only limited to infantry.

I would place Rumour as a durability (survivability) skill.
This sounds weird at the start, but let me explain it.
Rumour decreases the moral of the troops they attack. Once the moral of the opposing troops has been demoralized they deal less damage to your troop(s).
Because of this less damage your general will not lose that much health (HP) every strike. Therefore your general will survive longer in the battlefield.

That wasn't the case with previous games like wc3 and ew5.. did that change with wc4?

Checking unit stats after low morale, only their attack decrease, their defense stays the same.
