Should I use my medals to buy new generals (ex. Vatutin) or upgrade my free ones?

Upgrading the free ones to be as good as say, Guderian, would cost 13k medals. So buying new generals is much much much more cost effective.

Your commander should NOT be upgraded in the beginning, but something can be upgraded in the middle(for example I raised my guys for 1 satr movement and navy for mission), you can make a perfect commander after you have a lot of good end-game generals. But It will be better if we could see your current generals.

My generals are a 3 star tank colonel, a 2 star tank s lieutanant, and a sergeant. The base generals, so no upgrades other than the ones said above. I have 409 medals, and am about 2.7k energy away from great pyramids.

I have 409 medals, and am about 2.7k energy away from great pyramids. get chung (cheep 3* artillery) or badoglio (cheep 4* artillery) i guess that three star tank general is meyer? if you got one of those artilleries save up for guderian |

I think we have a lost that tells which generals are the best in the start before vatutin or guderian so if you find it then it'll be awesome.
Meyer or manteuffel are good starters for tanks IMO

meyer is definitely the best cheap tank general... i consider him way better than manteuffel

Oh god man, so at this stage you could sell those to get medals back, and buy guys like ozawa badoglio and other starters or a mid game. Its just not worth keeping the eye covered without other generals.
