Oh and upgrade rommel as best as you can but this is ur priority: messe and leeb damage and rumour, then konev artillery leader accuracy rumour, guderian blitzkrieg rumour panzer leader and armoured assault, Nimitz rumour and fleet leader, then rommel desert fighting, armoured assault and panzer leader.

Messe-Leeb-Guderian-Konev-Kuznetsov-Nimitz-Rommel-  (seemingly ideal and standard path) Vatutin-Yamashita-Konev-Kuznetsov-Guderian-Leeb-Rommel-Nimitz- ? (my path) The similarity here is that nailing 3 solid generals in the beginning is very useful, 1 tank 1 artillery and tank/arty/infantry(infantry not recommended). After that, strengthening your roster and getting navy, air and support generals would be helpful to your progress. Thank you for name-dropping all of the generals that I need (Ideal and Standard path) So far I have Messe, Leeb and Kunetzsov. I only need Guderian, Konev, Nimitz and Rommel now. Do you recommend upgrading all of the generals that I mentioned? The path I took was: Leeb-Rommel-Konev-Nimitz-Guderian. I didnt get Rommel with full discount though, I bought him with just the 20% which made him a bit more expensive but still worth it and fully upgraded Guderian and nearly all important skills for Rommel and Nimitz (besides rank and promotion). I am currently saving up for Yamamoto and once I get him I will fully upgrade him and then the rest of my commanders. Though it was difficult at the beginning (and in end game, modern campaign). I really enjoyed only taking one tier 2 general and then getting the strong ones. |

I have Messe and Guderian, again,(glitch caused me to start again almost from zero). Finished 43, rescue 10 and have just over 1600 medals for another commander. Am weary and making cloud backups in case. Unsure which path to take.

for beginner players the daily invasions can supply abt 20medals, so just grind for like months, hard but rewarding

Awww man,....decisions, decisions😝⚖️ well, personally i regret getting leeb as i really didnt need a second artillery general for damage, and arnold's rumour was why he was my 2nd artillery general for completing all 1980 normal gamemodes. This makes me to believe that you should get rommel as relying on guderian and messe alone is not enough, and rommel can be a great desert defense general, or just a solid damage dealer on any terrain to complement guderian. Konev can fill in for rundstedt now, unless you got all your good generals and upgraded them well you should be saving an infantry general for end game(I got yamashita as my 2nd general so oops lol...). I suggest you get rommel, then dowding, then rokossovsky or someone you have in mind. Dowding is inferior to arnold in terms of mid to end game usability, but if you are talking about speed runs dowdings the better choice. |

In case you do not know speed runs are runs of conquests to finish it in the least turns possible and to have the best end score. Its what people have fun in especially after you complete the game and there is nothing else to do other than making guides and attempting racing modes.
