Hello everyone as we all know that the update in iOS just released yesterday and I had played both conquest and campaigns. I’ve found that campaign is wayyyyyyyy harder than conquest. So I’m doing the first mission guide. .org/image/uwecv4ib9/] You got one nuke and 4 turns of Ion cannon. Take the city near the harbor and use academy skill(really important) in the city. Help Saudi Arabia and don’t cross the white line because the terrorist generals are strong with 1000HP. So I suggest that you guys should east and take one small city because you can build nukes. Build enough forces to take Baghdad but be careful enemies will sneak up and capture your first city near the harbor. And the rest is up to you. .org/image/88z3p22s5/]

I may only be on my last few WW2 Pacific missions and not played it for myself but my god, Easytech why tho? Make terrorists seem more menacing? I'm joking. It's probably to make another "extra hard end-game" scenario that ends your gameplay exp with a bang.

I just got to modern war and my first impression is it's so ridiculous it would be a compliment to call it half-baked.
Spoiler alert.
The world leaders are afraid terrorists are taking over the world so they give you a few pieces of scrap 1940s/50s era equipment and almost no resources to fight their 1980s advanced technology (developed by these magical terrorists of course). The terrorist military generals are far superior to any general ever seen before, including IAP generals. Terrorists recruit 1980s units. When you recruit from the same city/port they did you only get normal 1940s/50s crap units. The scenario rewards look like a sad joke as well.
It seems not a lot of brain power went into the modern war update.....

Whatever happened to the AMX-30? Did the French forget to develop tanks?

this mission is the hardest beginning mission, missions 2 and 3 are much more manageable

As long as it's not as hard as the Alien campaign from WC3 (which I was never able to beat, I was always stuck on the first mission) I can deal with it.

Uh Yeah? WTF OVER! Just tried this one and got all the lower cities below the white X's but ALL my guys were wrecked out by then and here come more titan tanks and super commandos to retake the hard won. This one is whack! Harry you're right! How do you fight them with WW2 equipment and where do these 1980's punks get all the general skills? Nice sunglasses though!

Oh I also demolished their navy and took all ports but this one is a nightmare. I used to say final base cold war was a bit like Custer's Last Stand, but this one is way harder.

Try 1980 again when you have those two adequately invested, it will be much easier ;] The sunglasses came from the eye-covered generals in wc3 that a player can buy, it sought of adds a layer of mystery and prestige to them

Anybody on Android that wants the army to be modern, just play the Ages of War Mod. But he sure to install the HOI4 mod and grab the unlimited resources first, then make a roster of OP generals. (Those apps are compatible and the resources carry over.)

Literally just reached this stage today. Even compared to the more difficult Cold War missions, such as The Final Base, this one is ridiculous. All the terrorist generals have over 1000 health, have insanely high damage output and some of them even have relatively high level rumor skills (level 3 or 4) My generals are Nagumo (starting skills + rumor level 3), Guderian (Starting skills with rumor level 4 and plain fighting level 2, panzer leader and armored assault are boosted), Vatutin(Starting skills + rumor level 3, plain fighting level 2 boosted), Leeb (Starting skills + accuracy level 2, rumor is level 3, accuracy and artillery leader boosted) and lastly Yamashita(starting skills + replacement and infantry leader level 3, inf leader and raider lvl3 are boosted) I get stuck at Isfahan at around turn 25, where most of my team, excluding Yamashita, who I had no money to place down, are worn down below half HP. All my tank generals were on tier 3 heavies, Leeb on the super arty and Nagumo on the double cruiser. So far my strategy has been to take all cities near the first objective, Saudis left their city open so I paratrooped it. I then proceeded to take Basra and the Iranian coastal cities, never crossing the white line, however the generals around Isfahan are simply too strong. Am I using the wrong strategy or do my generals simply need more upgrades?
