This thread is made to test the new dice feature in order to facilitate RP games and so forth. You can test the dice,and/or comment of its feature/looks/function.I will be able to change some functions, gfx, ranges ect..but maybe not others. If we can get this to work right and it's liked we'll keep it if not it will be taken out.

Added a pic showing a location Mountbatten and yes this only will show in the desktop or hybrid view not in the mobile view. So if some players are on cell phones they can switch to destop by scrolling down and picking "desktop" view or simply they can ask the game master to roll for them.

Awesome idea! This way, there won't be duels about who won the battle or whatever.

Right now it is set at 2 dices and range 1-10 but we can change that to whatever. Another possibility is to have only the thread game master roll.I am waiting for General William T. Sherman input on this since he runs/facilitates most of this. Edit:Ahh here you are sherman! You posted this as I posted mine!

Sherman input on this since he runs/facilitate most if this. Hmm, maybe I could? Idk, we should create a practice scenario where only the game master rolls. And also, can we manipulate the outcomes of the dice rolls so as to give certain sides deserved advantages? For example, the American Fleet and the British Fleet battle each other. The British Fleet is far stronger than the Americans, and will have the advantage. Could we manipulate the outcome of the dice roll so as to be more in favor of the British because they are stronger?

Yes but right now only if we give control to the game master.IE:player A attacks players B, because player A navy is much stronger than payer B the game master resolve this by assigning player A 1-13 success, 13-15 for a tie and 15-20 for a loss. So possibly how this could work, in this scenario, player A announces his intention to attack, game master sets the odds of success or defeat, player A then either proceeds with the attack and roll or decides the odds of winning are not good enough and chooses a different course of action. Dunno if it might slow down the game too much or not..but hey these are just ideas, you guys decide how to do this!

The only problem is that the game master might not be online. Then the entire game is delayed.

Well the dice are given to add randomness and an element of fairness. You guys need to come up with a system that's acceptable using this feature,or else you are stuck with simple statements like player A announces that he attacks this or that and takes it for himself without any kind of test or possible outcome variations.
