I have been stuck on this exercise for quite a while now, and i'm still trying to get past this. Only advice is sheer brute force & rumour. I believe I approached from the South for maximum firepower. |

Approaching from the south? What sorcery is that? As i remember, u must aproach from both sides, when your northern group attract attention of mountbatten, southern group can capture the port. Guderian with 5 star movement will help to capture port a lot. I did it by stoic’s guide above. |

Huh. I tried approaching both sides many times before, but apparently, I was able to do it by going entirely south and just firefighting around Mountbatten.

I know people have explained methods for this one, but I'm still quite stuck. Early cold war navy tech, and I'm using Nimitz and Guderian for my gens

Argh I'm stuck at this now tried l your strategies with kuznestov and yamashita(most hp) but still got hopelessly blocked and picked off, no matter which side I attack from

Personally, I think the South is a more bloody but safer option. I have still tried this with every method of approach... I gave into my greedy side and bought Manstein so RIP... On the other hand, Manstein is the only high health general I have. I have him (not upgraded), Guderian rumor lvl 5, Konev rumor lvl 3, Rommel rumor lvl 1, and Messe not upgraded. I don't have enough medals to purchase another general so... Please help!!! |

If you have medal shortage, then work on your tech tree. This is important, especially your Def, HP and atk. Rush in with Guderian taking the lead and inflicting Rumour, then Manstein should follow up and take on Mountbatten. I think using a full super cruiser team should work. |

You don’t actually have to fight many enemies to win this, I helped my friend do it the other day, he snuck in a high movement cruiser (Guderian was on it) into the middle, Mountbatten left port and he took it. Also he lured the southern submarines by sending a cruiser to attack from the south so now the southern submarines can’t block you when u go from the north. Also remember you have to use the high movement cruiser to get past the choke point in the north without getting blocked.
