You don’t actually have to fight many enemies to win this, I helped my friend do it the other day, he snuck in a high movement cruiser (Guderian was on it) into the middle, Mountbatten left port and he took it. Also he lured the southern submarines by sending a cruiser to attack from the south so now the southern submarines can’t block you when u go from the north. Also remember you have to use the high movement cruiser to get past the choke point in the north without getting blocked. Hmm very interesting tactic I will give it a go |

Oops it didn't work sure the submarines get distracted to the south but when I get guderian to the middle mountbatten just stays put. Another go I lured him out but a double submarine spawned in his place

oh whoops I forgot the key details lol
If you are within one or two hex tiles from Mountbatten, he will stay where he is and attack you. (Because he’s already in range)
If you are exactly 3 hex tiles from Mountbatten, he will move to attack you. Also go inside the middle first, then move to 3 tiles away, Mountbatten moves out, and take port. If u don’t go to the middle first and stay 3 tiles away from Mountbatten, he will move and block the corridor and you can’t get in.
If they spawn a troop in the port, it can get lured out as well.

1) Upgrade rumor on generals
2) Get fast moving generals
3) Have decent to good naval technology

Mountbatten doesn't leave the port You'll have to use a combination of cruisers and subs to defeat him and immediately capture the port. |

I strongly recommend having a 2nd and/or stronger navy gen like Ninitz. However, if your gens all have lvl 5 Rumour, this is also a doable Domination Exercise. |
