I thought first you may mean Franco, but the devastating economy he caused and left behind after his death 1975, wont fit for nothing. Ever heard of the "Spanish Miracle?" Spain is an agricultural country, the first 15 years after the civil war were depressive. In the 60'ies tourism was the only evolving sector. Apart a minimal self-sustaining production, unindustrialized with a GDP far behind all bigger west-european countries. Only the construction sector, to fulfill the touristic demands, has maybe seen an intermediate miracle.

Ok, a quick one, with all the specialists here.
I am the only German Feldmarshall who died for combat action.
I stated in the german Headquarter my protest against war-criminal commands and because of our open dispute in strategy (Barbarossa), I was long off duty, untill Hitler finally comitted suicide.
