Ok, it is an easy one 1. We all know his name. 2. His regnal number was also III, but only scholars remember it. 3. His father (whose regnal number was II ) was a great military and political leader, but few know his name because his son's accomplishments simply overshadowed his achievements. 4. The murder of his father was very profitable for him, there is even a theory that he was behind this crime. 5. He never liked to be compared with his father. Once he killed his father's friend because of that. And this man saved his life in one battle. Alexander the Great Correct

Ok.
His father called him "the king of Rome", though he never was a king and never visited Rome. He died when he was 21. And as his birth was a hope for many people, in equal measure his death was a relief for many people. And it has nothing to do with him personally. Before his death he wrote: "Must I end so young a life that is useless and without a name? My birth and my death – that is my whole story".

Is anyone reading this thread ? I'm not Well as no one else is guessing: the "King of Rome" clue makes me think of Bonaparte, so I'm going to guess that his son was called Napoleon II.

He was born in 1885. He competed in the 1912 Olympic Games. A career soldier, he served in WWI starting as a captain and rising to colonel by the end of the war. He died in 1945, officially due to injuries received in a traffic accident, although some maintain he was murdered for his "controversial" views.
