Should I buy Konev once at 40% discount? Or save and buy Guderian? Maybe sell Vatutin for Guderian and Konev? What do you guys think? Let's think logically... Sooner or later daily Invasions will be your only source to get medals. That means you need at least 3 generals for that. 1. Konev. Best art general in the game and he can defeat any Inf Invasion. european-war-4.boards.net/thread/7330/infantry-general-who?page=32. Tank general. To be honest you don't need Guderian for Invasions. Vatutin has excellent skills for a short brutal fight. Give him AA, upgrade his skills and he won't let you down. 3. Nimitz. Imo, one of the best Navy generals in the game. No difference between him and Doenitz, imo. And you can get him for 1700 medals. Upgrade these 3 men and you will have 110-170 medals per day (after all medal buildings are built). And after that you can plan your further steps... So you will have a constant income of medals without even an active involvement in the game. For sure you can find 10-15 minutes twice a day to defeat Invasions. Be sure that you complete your daily tasks as well, for tech tree is of great importance in WC4. Awesome! Thanks! |

I did as you say, I used x10 Howitzers in this case I made it up to the 40% discount which I hit a roadblock on Konev died too quickly   Your aim is to capture the city on the west before they take down Konev. If you dont hold any objective, you will lose (and if you are defeated AND loose troops, that the worst outcome posible, so if things are looking too bad, quit before you lose any troop and retry) If you can take that city, its all guccy, whilst you are sure not to lose it, you will only have to worry about the limitation of turns  I see now. Buy Konev now? 2570 medals - 1593 medals (Konev) = 977 medals

You dont even have to ask, even with -20% off its still a good deal.
He is the best arty gen and with the potential to become one of the deadliest gens, with 2 free spaces and 2 really strong abilities (the second one is useless for him though), 6 points in arty and up to 4 in movement.
He can also play in an infantry role if you really need so for some rescue the ally/hold the ground/accumulate supplies/wipe out the enemy/exercise in x... but he will perform way better in arty.
Focus to raise his accuracy skill (specially if you have its medal), it will bump up even more his performance. Then Artillery Leader, then give him jungle/plain fighting (if you have a gen with plain, take jungle, and viceversa, this way you'll maximize medals and jungles are seen often in WC4, it will also reduce the damage they take (whilst a plain will make you take full damage)). For last skill, take crossfire or explosives, but this shouldnt be a priority.

You should have at least 2 tank gens, 2 arty gens & 1 navy gen in endgame. 5th gen can be a hybrid.
I don't recommend selling Vatutin UNLESS you are replacing him with Rokossovsky.
You can still raise the required medals for Konev either ways.

I feel Konev can help with invasions as well as position that 1-2nd Slot artillery gen spot but Guderian being an overall beast, especially since tanks > artillery units I’m in a dilemma I can afford either one, Konev or Guderian but both prove very great strength in their roles. Ik this may seem like a roundabout question, but idk, I just need someone to help set me straight. I'm a strange person.  |
