I have 1380 Medals and I have Vatutin I am currently anchored at Axis 7 & Allies 7 in the Pacific campaign I can manage to get a few more medals through missions
Should I buy a General such as Leeb? Or sell Vatutin and acquire Guderian?
Any ideas or thoughts on what I should do?

Probably go for Leeb. I would have not bought Vatutin if you're going for Guderian so early. Messe is much cheaper, gets the job done, and, due to his cost, puts more early stage medals towards Guderian. Don't get me wrong, what you're doing works. It just isn't how I'd go about it. Nonetheless, after Leeb, maybe go for Guderian if you can manage it.

I would buy Leeb, many people say he is the 3rd Arty general of WC4 easily. It is better to have two very good generals than only one, even if he is the best of all. But a better idea, if you afford to, is buying Konev, if you get the -40% discount it is even better. But if you can’t buy Konev, Leeb will get the job done for sure.

What’s the best way to obtain Konev? What does it take and how can I complete it? I’d love to know And is he more efficient in getting than purchasing Leeb?

Konev is certainly worth it, but his 40% and 20% missions are kind of difficult. You'll need some decent-good generals, if not better. Leeb is a great start, and more than pays for himself.

How does the missions go for the discount? And does it allow the usage of a General such as Vatutin? (Involving tank unit) Sorry, noob here. I suspect that it would go just as the invasion missions Which could mean (x no. of units allowed) arty units only for Konev’s battles?

It is pretty much like a wipe out the enemy mission. For Konev you can use only arty units, the ones form your legion, and you can use your own generals plus one the general you are doing the mission for. The one to unlock him and to get -20% are somewhat easy, but in order to do the -40% you will need a good arty general.

(Does he have those huge skill and health boosts?) And what about the enemy arty units? How much medals would he cost?

I think in 20% and 40% discount mission, he has a HP boost. I don't think your Vatutin can help you much though because on arty, the Messe I use (with base stats and skills) is better. Yes, on arty, Messe IS BETTER THAN a 1,800+ medals Vatutin. And I used Leeb. On the other hand, enemy uses arty, inf & tank. In 40% mission, there's either a Manstein or Guderian but he dies easily since that mission also has an Allied Vatutin.

What’s the best route to go in general purchasing etc. I have looked into some threads, though I get lost (without IAPs)
I’d appreciate if someone can help simplify it from here so I can just look at it from here
Thanks!
With my current Vatutin and hard worked account, should I buy Leeb now?

With my current Vatutin and hard worked account, should I buy Leeb now? Vatutin -> Guderian -> Rommel/Konev/Nimitz/Leeb Vatutin -> Konev/Leeb -> Guderian -> Nimitz/Rommel/Konev/Leeb That's what I think you can do now. Vatutin is quite good on his own based on your progress. Heck, he can even possibly make it to Guderian on his own! What do you feel you are lacking though? An arty gen, the best non-IAP tank gen, or something else. If you want Konev, you can either substitute use of an arty gen with strong arty deployed & good tech or have Leeb, it really depends on how you feel.

I’d like to know! I have recently upgraded my tech and I’m pushing my conquests in 1943 as well as 1939. 1943 Soviet Union is going real well for me right now, though it’ll take a lot more time... I’m not sure on what I am lacking though... Perhaps my tactics? I may farm 1939 conquests for resources in order to upgrade my tech but in the meantime, I’ll be needing a second General soon (1440 medals rn, barely did any hard campaign missions)

It is also really important to have good and enough legion units. I did the -40% mission with Leeb and Pacific Tech Arty (without specials), but without any Super Artillery (was only like lv 25)...and it was really close The most difficult part is to defend Konev in that one. You need to be quick to north, so you need speed and firepower.

My tech is just getting into the pacific war era with my HQ level at 23, looks like I’m going to have to do a lot of farming to refine my tech I haven’t bought a single troop either, not sure on it’s composition or what troops I should buy
