You know, I compared Patton and Guderian and I just realized that George in this game is bootleg Guderian.
3 Infantry Stars? Check.
6 Tank stars? Check.
4 potential Air stars? Check.
0-2 Artillery stars (Barely any difference)? Check.
0-2 Navy Stars? Check.
5 (potential) movement stars? Check.
Mostly useless skills to make him a bootleg? Check.
Similar price? Check.

It is horrible being an offensive general, as a defensive general it is good, but Monty is much better and as a support general it is decent but Tymoshenko and Crerar can do the same and are much cheaper.
Shiny stars, bad Skills.

It is horrible being an offensive general, as a defensive general it is good, but Monty is much better and as a support general it is decent but Tymoshenko and Crerar can do the same and are much cheaper. Shiny stars, bad Skills. Yep. He is like rokossovsky, -1 skill. Vatutin, Monty, Graziani (I recommend him over monty) are better. But if you speedfarm, lvl 5 mobility is nice. |

Was ok in the last game, but complete garbage in this one. He costs 1000 medals more than Vatutin, but is inferior to him in everyway imaginable. Not only is he expensive, but he sucks too. By far the worst gold tier general in the game. I Everyone needs to stop hating on Patton so much. Sure he’s expensive, especially maxing out his two empty slots(I used Level 5 Panzer Leader and Armored Assualt). But this guy can really rekt, I’ve had him whip out 400 damage a couple of times. Now you’re probably shocked since pretty evey says he’s horrible, you just really need to try the general before you assume stuff like that. All in all there are definitely better options like Guderian being the god of tanks as well as Rommel, Manstein and Rokossovsky. But he’s a fun general to use, hoped this helped! 👌 |

But he’s a fun general to use, hoped this helped! 👌 all generals are capable of dealing good damage with the existence of >5 stars in their niche and at least one damage boosting skill. Examples include govorov or leeb. The reason why we hate on him, and many other gens like montgomery or zhukov(to a certain extent but still) is due to skill combination, where you lose out on an effective skill combination as compared to other generals. For tank generals, having blitzkrieg, panzer leader, armored assault and rumor is the most ideal combination, and minus 2 or more of the aformentioned skills the general's worth for his price also decreases. Nonetheless, if one is looking for variety having patton can still be beneficial, but not key to helping you reach the endgame. btw, Soviet Spagett welcome to the forum  |

But I have also used controversial tank generals before, Graziani in this case. He’s also really good when well-upgrade, but he’s not desirable as Rokossovsky and Rommel are considered better choices.

If you are a speedrunner tho, he is a must have as he can still have both aa and panzer leader while also lvl 5. If you are casual player, graziani, montgomery, vatutin, and even macarthur are miles better. |

I think a better statement is that he can’t have at least Armored Assault and Panzer Leader without sacrificing one of each for Rumor, cause sacrificing Blitzkrieg for Rumor is forgivable. |

Sorry about the grammar, auto correct can be so annoying. You guys are right tho, he’s definitely insignificant compared to Guderian. He’s more or less a “special general” since he has abilities that reduce damage from air and artillery units. So he can’t really be of use as your frontline heavy hitting general, but I like to think of him as a punching bag. I’ll have skills like machinist and rumor, and use his other abilities to distract other generals from my main general like Guderian. Lol even tho Guderian can really handle himself, it still helps, especially in the Cold War scenarios. Any spare medals you can buy him as a fun unit, but their are definitely better generals to buy.
