Sorry about the grammar, auto correct can be so annoying. You guys are right tho, he’s definitely insignificant compared to Guderian. He’s more or less a “special general” since he has abilities that reduce damage from air and artillery units. So he can’t really be of use as your frontline heavy hitting general, but I like to think of him as a punching bag. I’ll have skills like machinist and rumor, and use his other abilities to distract other generals from my main general like Guderian. Lol even tho Guderian can really handle himself, it still helps, especially in the Cold War scenarios. Any spare medals you can buy him as a fun unit, but their are definitely better generals to buy. Why is your name soviet spaghetti but your pfp is a picture of heinz guderian lmao 😁 |

Does missle attacks count as air damage? Patton seems a bit overhated. Mostly because of the idea that you use a general with defensive skills for standing still and tanking damage in a city.
Don’t do that.
The point of Patton seems to be a person who runs around rumoring people without dying. 5 move stars + incredible survivability skills. That doesn’t sound that bad honestly, but medals are hard to come by in WC4 and his price is pretty high. So idk.

Yes, missiles count as air when you are on the offensive with generals with air stars, but when it is defence the defensive skills are split between camouflage for air and shelter for missiles

Missiles + nukes are a bigger threat than air and most artillery you oneshot with Guderian. Timoshenko works well enough when doing that. He’s faster too. |

Well, I think that's an interesting way to use and see Patton, and maybe it can be useful with small countries, but I think Guderian + Another general with Rumor are effective enough. |

Was ok in the last game, but complete garbage in this one. He costs 1000 medals more than Vatutin, but is inferior to him in everyway imaginable. Not only is he expensive, but he sucks too. By far the worst gold tier general in the game. I Everyone needs to stop hating on Patton so much. Sure he’s expensive, especially maxing out his two empty slots(I used Level 5 Panzer Leader and Armored Assualt). But this guy can really rekt, I’ve had him whip out 400 damage a couple of times. Now you’re probably shocked since pretty evey says he’s horrible, you just really need to try the general before you assume stuff like that. All in all there are definitely better options like Guderian being the god of tanks as well as Rommel, Manstein and Rokossovsky. But he’s a fun general to use, hoped this helped! 👌 I don't think people hate him because he has no power, after all he is a general with high mobility and 6 stars in Panzer ... The real problem with Patton is his price and his skills. He is considerably expensive in addition to that compared to his rivals, he has much less useful skills in comparison. |
