Try getting the Blitzkrieg medal and upgrading Guderian's Blitzkrieg to Level 5 as soon as possible. The combined effect will be a staggering 90% chance, which means that most of the time you will be able to attack someone without fear of retaliation. apparently 90% blitzkrieg occurs less frequently than 12% cover from terrorist generals Still does occur frequently, though. It actually feels like 90% of the time for me. |

It’s like misses and crits in Darkest Dungeon/XCOM/Fire Emblem.  Player character has less than 100% hit chance = always miss Enemy has 1-10% crit chance = always crit |

I find Finland much easier. I've tried Egypt numerous times and haven't won as the Italians would send Graziani and Messe through the Middle East to get me and when I do land in Spain, I get overpowered by the German spam.

I tried Finland and I even managed to defeat Russia and then came the Australian spam. I was going well until my save file got wiped out. I reloaded the save file but the conquest progress was gone . I am just bored to try it again. |

That's a shame. Getting your conquests wiped is extremely annoying when you were on your way to victory.
