If you give MacArthur Raider and Rumor, he will be quite good. Either a hard-hitting, fast Infantry general or a fast-moving tank that demoralizes easily. The benefit of buying MacArthur over Rundstedt, or Yamashita or Mannerheim, is that even when you’re late in the game and Infantry becomes less useful, you still can use him in a Timoshenko-like role. This way, you will be able to live with your Infantry general without feeling like you need to sell him. This can potentially prevent medal loss.

With the tech tree, even Rundstedt's 2* movement is probably enough. Moreover, Rundstedt at final discounted price offers 6* inf, 3* arty & 3* tank. Plus, you pay more for the exact SAME rank, Major General. When are you ever going to use those 3* in navy? Even if you can find a use for the navy stars, isn't Rundstedt at 40% discount + Kuznetsov better than MacArthur at 4* navy? Lvl 3 street fighting VS lvl 1 street fighting? Point goes to MacArthur. Give him Level 4 Rumor and he will perform similarly to Kuznetsov in navy. Give him Level 4 Rumor and he will perform similarly to Messe in a tank.

Hybrids in wc4 are mostly for people who are swimming in pools of iap medals imo. People like myself. And me.Lol whenever I push the restore purchase button I get 40000 medals back. I am like, jesus did I really spend that much cash on wc4? Turns out I really did

My dream is that I could have Manstein, Zhukov, Guderian, MacArthur, Rokossovsky, Dönitz, Konev and Rommel maxed.

I’d probably go for a maxed out yamashita with guerilla (ik that that is rundstendt, but yamashita’s movement and two other skills are superior).

I suddenly envisioned him being strong on a Commando, but I have tanks. And Zhukov has 6 Infantry stars. But upgrading my generals's Armored Assault to Level 5 reminded me that Infantry isn’t that great.

I would probably say yamashita if you are willing to spend (rundstendt is 1000 medals cheaper but loses bayonet charge and ace forces), mannerheim if you want someone cheap and strong.

Yeah. I would probably say yamashita if you are willing to spend (rundstendt is 1000 medals cheaper but loses bayonet charge and ace forces), mannerheim if you want someone cheap and strong. For now, it’s unneeded. Zhukov does a great job in Infantry invasions.

Has he gotten better since his WW1 days? He's definetly picked up some style.

Okay, so does that mean we will see other World Conqueror classics, just without the buffs in the game?

Okay, so does that mean we will see other World Conqueror classics, just without the buffs in the game? Petain is an IAP in EW6:1914. While he’s terrible in WC3 and WC4. Horthy is an unbuyable Austro-Hungarian admiral in EW6:1914 who’s pretty strong. Yet again he’s awful in the WC series. Those are the only three generals so far that seems so exist both in EW6:1914 and the WC series.

He was a corporal in WW1. Not happening.

Or make a special infantry for the Germans with a Rectangle Mustache buff (greatly increased mobility and attack)
