Plus, even Guderian can perform decently on a carrier due to his 3 air stars, and Kuznetsov can have the same air power as Nimitz for 540 medals, and he deals only 12 less damage than him, which is negligible. Just ask Nagumo. So, do you guys think it’s better to get Dönitz over Nimitz if I already have Kuznetsov? No never choose Donitz over Nimitz. Nimitz is awesome as he has lvl 3 ace forces, which results in really quick leveling up. This is important as each time a unit levels up, more hp is gained. Quite a big amount to like 300 hp. Ace forces alone more than makes up for Donitz’s wolfpack and sailor... That and nimitz is a 1000 medals cheaper. If you really want Donitz, I would trade Kuznetsov for him later on like Harry Lillis "Bing" Crosby Jr did. Ace forces is especially good on navy, right? Because it hampers Guderian's performance as a tank general.

On naval units, you can’t heal them, and they simply do have more hp. I’d probably say that on navy tho, my ideal navy general would be Wolfpack - Fleet Leader - Sailor - Cover - Rumor

On navy, pretty much any skill that isn’t fleet leader or rumor is pretty much negligible so nimitz is always the better deal

Thing is, do I want 2 navy generals? Has this been answered?

it would be useful where one navy general takes out strong enemy cruiser/carrier generals on a submarine, and your other navy gen on a cruiser taking out coastal cities

Back to this thread, now that I managed to get 40% Nimitz I’d have him over Dönitz any day.

Fun fact: Dönitz's surname is unwrittable in the English alphabet, so in the e-mail messages his name always appears as “Dnitz”.

Why do people complain about Dönitz's price if of one of his skills is Level 4, the other Level 3 and the other Level 2? He’s not Yamamoto who has like the same price but all of his skills Level 1. Plus Dönitz is great.

I personally think he is strong, but when I put nimitz and donitz together, I could honestly not see any difference between them. Same when differentiating kuz to nimitz.
