badogilo is very scary in conquests when you are playing as the allied powers, but thats all because you dont have leeb or konev being put up against him, maybe cuz he goes in the opposite direction, or gets killed before he can reach u Leclerc is also very scary when you play as the Axis, especially in the case of Spain and Italy.

how so? Well the guy was extremely cheap. Beating wc3 with no generals in the beginning was brutal. Artillery was very strong in wc3, easily the strongest unit early in the game. Badoglio was honestly miles above everyone in his price range. The only generals better than him were bai, govorov, and konev. Furthermore, he had a crap ton of hp, good stars, great skills. Buying him early on absolutely saved a bunch of people in the brutal early stages of wc3 Mama Mia! Level FOUR Artillery Leader, Level 2 Artillery Barrage (Much better in WC3 than in WC4), Level 2 Explosives, 4 Artillery Stars (Remember that there aren’t 6 stars in WC3, so it’s like him having 5 Artillery stars), 2 stars in movement, Major General rank, and all of that for a price of JUST 1210 medals?!

Badoglio was truly demonstrating why Italy was 3 stars in WC3 (And still is in WC4)...

All of those things that he has makes me think that he is very underrated. Maybe because he was an opportunist, but that’s called being smart. Still, the people of Italy seem to loathe him due to his role in WW2...
Marshal of Italy, Italian ambassador in Brazil, Prime Minister of Italy after Benito Mussolini, he was favored by King Victor Emmanuel III for that position of Prime Minister, died of natural causes unlike most Italian commanders during WW2, wasn’t trialed for war crimes unlike most Axis commanders (The latter because he switched to the Allies), and he gets to be decent in WC4 and a beast in WC3...

Graziani somehow didn’t get tried either, and he literally committed genocide in ethiopia

Yeah. Graziani is the second most hated WW2 Italian after Mussolini.

Glad to be of help. It’s nice to learn something new everyday, even if it is something not that important.

Or a nice historical fact... such as Italy having used chemical weapons during the pre-WW2 Second Italo-Abyssinian War.

If Leeb wasn't a few 100 medals away from being obtained, he would probably be everyone's starting arty general. Poor Badoglio, gettting overshadowed by Leeb. But at least he's better than De Gaulle, Tito, and (maybe) fellow arty general Terauchi.
