Well, that’s a reason to replace Yamamoto with Arnold. Arnold can be put in a tank and he will just weaken everyone that dares come close near him. I’m aware that Yamamoto can be used as artillery, but he is not Guderian who is very powerful which makes his price fair. No, Yamamoto is powerful but not enough to justify his price.

Oh, and forget that I said that Arnold is worse than some gold tiers. He is more cost-effective than Yamamoto. I had forgotten that Air is to be used on carriers which are part of the navy XD yes his lack of navy stars make him not the best carrier general. But on land he's the undeniable beast Don’t tell me that Navy affects the power of aircraft carriers, too! Do the carriers work by navy stars or air stars?

Do the carriers work by navy stars or air stars? ah this is a common source of confusion amongst members let me clear it up: When you use air attacks from, lets say arnold on a carrier, his damage is boosted by his air stars and skills only, e.g. six stars and air leader. However when an enemy destroyer attacks your carrier, the carrier will not retaliate/counter with air attacks but with cannons on board the ship. In this counter attack arnold will not get a boost as he has no navy stars. But with yamamoto his navy stars will be used for this counter.

Ah, so the only possible advantage that Yamamoto could have over Arnold is that Sailor would increase his counter-damage? Hmm, with Yama's 5 navy stars it would be a hard strike. TBH I’ve been thinking about replacing Arnold with Yama. Yama is good, he is just expensive. He is not like MacArthur who is bad from the start. Maybe if I put some effort, I can buy Yamamoto.

Thing is destroyers are easily nullified with arnold's level 5 rumor. And even if yamamoto's counter is good, enemy submarines will destroy him as efficiently as with arnold on the same carrier. Counter damage in sea is not what one would count on for carriers

Ah, yes. I forgot that Arnold's Rumor is a must for naval battles. This is likely his skill in case he needs to fight. And Yamamoto doesn’t start with any. Thanks. This time I definitely buried Yama inside my mind.
