Well, neutral countries is something I've been thinking about, but not too essential for the time being. I'm also done with the tank textures (just need to fix the UK and USSR Heavy Tanks). As for artillery, it is a maybe. The ZiS-3 for the Soviet Union in real life is an antitank gun, but is put under field artillery ingame. I'm planning to switch out the ZiS-3 for a ML-20. Infantry is extremely hard to do. I will have to grab the arms and legs of infantry to create unique troops. For Vietnam, I might use arms of the Wehrmacht, pants and heads from the USSR, and so on. It's very difficult to decide. If I have enough time in my hands, I could create my own Vietnamese troops.

txubythekiller84, probably. I found digferent variants of it, as I haven't found an exact description of how Umbar's flag look like. But if we consider that they are Numenoreans by origin (if I remember correctly, Umbar was found by Castamir and his successors durind the Kin-strife). But I think the double P might be indeed the good flag.

Lord of Middle EarthI think this is the name I will go with for the project in European War 4. Come and check the already created nation units and models, they will help you a lot. But still, I think there are some problems that I think you can solve, because I need your help: - except for a few nations' superheavy cavalry (Mumakil, trolls of Gundabad, Misty Mountains, Isengard, Olag-Hai, dwarven and rhunic chariots), I was not able to find and create some units to use for replacing the originals - I think you should use this image for the background of the game menu - and maybe the theme music should be changed. One of my suggestion would the the Uruk-Hai theme from Lord of the Rings - I need a map or at least a list of the settlements from European War 4, in order to think how should we rename them, if possible (it would be more interesting to have the names from Middle Earth) - also, if possible, I'd like you to add some new towns, and I will work for some custom settlements look, such as Paris, London, Moskau etc, (I think I can create some textures to resemble such places as Erebor, Rivendell, Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, Barad-Dur and so on...) This thread will be set as a conclusion before anyone start doing this mod, so we need to create the difinite idea. Shoid I also upload the unit textures done until now here? Estimated Release date?

LeBeau, unfortunately not yet. There is a lot of work to do. Maybe in the summer... All of us have a lot of extra work: I am working on the concept of this mod and also on another mod at the same time, Konstantin Rokossovsky is working on programming the campaign levels and creating the new unit textures, and belilakonja is creating a new Middle Earth map from scratch. This is an ambitious project, more complicated than BJ'S WW1 mod. I hope it will become like a Third Age Total War of mobile phone

Aleksandr Vasilevsky, sure. At least with the units, I can help you. I just received a copy of the unit textures files, and I started exercising on these. I can start work on the Middle Earth units, then send you what I did. I just need you to add a few more national models, not just 9 as are in the base game. But for begining, we can go with these ones.

I want to make a little update on the flags, as I found a bit more: Rhudaur Cardolan Arthedain Umbar (update) First three flags are for the Fall of Arnor conquest, and are also featured in a few campaign levels. The three splitered Kingdoms will use the same units as Arnor. There is also one more nation featured, but which doesn't have a flag: Plains of Rhovanion. Here is their banner.

Aleksandr Vasilevsky, at the moment, I am helping a few other modder coleagues with their unit textures, but I hope to get into our mod after that. 1) how to create new hats? We need to change them and make helmets 2) how to introduce shields for the soldiers? They will need some 3) for weapons, I just need to change the musket to a sword, spear or pike? They will keep make the firung animation, so you may need, if possible, to change it to the melee attack animation of cavalry (it would be best) 4) in my images, the soldiers look to wear something like skirts under the armour, similar to the British Guards from the base game. How can I do that for all (or most) soldiers? 5) if we are working with only the models from the original game (unless you can add a few more), can you give me some suggestions on how to convert them? For example, the Ottomans can become Harad, Russia becomes Rhun, Austria becomes Gondor and so on...

However for textures, we will have to think about something. I'm trying to figure that out.
