If you can, make the map bigger as you can.
Because, there are a lot of nations and for example Gondor, Rohan and Isengard if the map is small could be too much together

I said that because in the Three Kingdoms mod the units are more equal to the Middle earth units than the European War map. If you want to find more about the map design and special towns (they will have on the middle iconic places from Middle Earth - just wait for belilakonja to release the map; he knows more about it). Wait, is there a Three Kingdoms mod? Anyways, at the beginning I was thinking on dping the mod for 3K, but I felt dissapointed by the conquest feature. As for map, belilakonja can offer a bit more details. There will be special towns that xontain iconic buildings of Middle Earth. He should release it soon, probably, or at least give us a sneak peek. |

Heres a sneak peak before i fill up themap  as you can see i made it much bigger now for extra space sorry if some mistakes i made i has to make this map from memory since i coudnt find a fitting map to trace on |

@belilakonja , I can help you in a few hours with some refferences and possible improvements. It looks very good! Also, how did you make the hex map? I'd like such an image to use in my version of the map to offer some further advice?
How can I make a blank image/photo with the same number of hexes? Thank you a lot!

Well a large 1280x1080 would do,How i made the map I used my memory as stated ^^
on how i make costum maps i will make a separate guide when we finish the mod,since ill need time to write it down

@belilakonja, using you image, I tried to look if there is any suggestion. This is my opinion on what can be improved. Just please move the mountain ranges of Mordor a bit more in the north and maybe reduce it a bit os size, to can have enough space for Harad, Umbar and Khand. Otherwise, well done! The black like suggests how the border can be done to look a bit better. What do you think?  |

Thanks with this the map is done in no time since k can easily trace with it .I agree i did focus on the mordor range way too much  i was thinking of making the hill biome(in vanilla) to mordor terrain. now currently this is the base EW4 size so we could make larger(but it would be time consuming) Either way expect it done by tommorow evening |

And a suggestion, city-states should have at least industry and cavalry. I agree. A good example is Isengard. It can have at least one industry. Another city state, Dol Amroth, will have a large city (and its capital) Belfalas. |

@belilakonja , wow, it really looks great! I can work a concept for borders you can apply on the map. My only confusion is given by the fact that the mountain ranges of Mordor are still too big (but I can get over it, so it's not such a problem) and too south placed, and the town symbols are confusing me. Nothing else to add, because I like the aspect of the map. Good job!You can use these images as reference when building the borders (chronologically, they are from 1 to 6):
