In this stage, this is what we still need to make:
- completing the nations' unit roasters (cavalry) - setting the borders of Europe for including each country on its specific conquest era - creating at least a few custom images for the unique settlements as in he original game (We can have here Erebor, Dale, Lake Town, Gundabad, Carn Dum, Barad-Dur, The Black Gate, Rivendell, Khazad-Dum, Minas Tirith, Minas Morgul, Cirith Ungol, The Shire and so on...) - organising the alliances for each conquest - adding generals (how many generals do we need to replace from the original game? We can just replace some portraits and names, that would be the easiest way. But we need to find that number of generals, captains and kings, which would be a bit more difficult) - eventually, creating a campaign for the mod

Iron Marshal, I was thinking on next thing: let's take for example Lagnes (french infantry general). Most simple, I think, would be to change his portrait and name (let's say Gimli). And so, I think this would be an easy way to have new geberals. As I mentioned previously, the only problem would be to find that number of kings, generals and captains. How many do we need to replace all generals from the original game? In worst case, we would need to made-up some captains to fit in the missing spaces.

CountVonNumenor Those settlement textures look pretty good. As for commanders and generals, we could possibly delete some. But it's better if we don't, we could stick to made up commanders/generals

Yes, it is much easier to replace the vanilla EW4 Generals with new ones. We aren't making a Napoleonic mod so it's not like we need the vanilla generals anyways.

Fortifications are done. Check then out! - wooden castle (replacing the wooden fort) - castle (replacing artillery fort) - fortress (replacing the large fortess) - tower (replacing coastal artillery)

The Black Gate (Mordor) I hope these are only half from all the custom towns planned. Is it possible to introduce these special building into the same way as in the original game? Or they will be some custom towns by themselves?

CountVonNumenor The main thing you should kinda be worried about is if the texture page can fit all the planned textures you have. Afterwards, there may be other factors that may limit the amount of custom textures for settlements you can have.

Aleksandr Vasilevsky, in the worst case (that would be not to introduce all of these models), you can choose the ones you consider the best looking. But can we add a few more max level cities on the map? I think they can serve for placing the images.
