Suddenly, I started thinking on something: did I make too many unit models? Because I am a bit concerned that all my work would have been just a waste of time, that the game game can hold only a small number of different unit "culture" textures. In the worst case, in which I'm right, is it possible to make somehow and add all of them? Something like calling them "Neutral 1", "Neutral 2", "Neutral 3" and so on...?
Hope my work on all the 25 nations was not in vain.

Aleksandr Vasilevsky, alright. Try whatever might be the best solution. I found someone who would be able to create the custom map of Middle Earth, thing that would make remake the maps for Middle Earth instead of Europe. Can he (belilakonja) join us in the project?

Aleksandr Vasilevsky _, what else (except for cavalry) do we have to do before starting to work on the mod? At the moment I have the infantry, artillery, ships, custom settlements (I will look for names for the other towns on the map), flags. A variant would be to work on the map of Europe, unless belilakonja will come with the custom map. What we still need: - cavalry - generals (not so hard, thanks to your tactic) - they can also be found from the movie characters, together with book characters that didn't appear on the big screen - campaign: for campaign, I have a few concepts: a) Servants of the Dark Lord (Rhun, Harad, Umbar, orc nations) b) The Last of f the Dunadein (Arnor, Gondor, The Reunited Kingdom of Gondor and Arnor, Rohan) c) Sons of Durin (dwarf campaign) d) Might of the Elves e) Rise of Isengard

Aleksandr Vasilevsky , I want to announce you that belilakonja has joined us and will provide the custom map for our mod. Also, I was thinking about a way how to introduce the custom buildings into the settlements. You probably noticed that in EW4 Paris has the Arch de Triumphe, Moskau the Kremlin, Washington the White House and so on in the middle of the level 6 settlement. I was thinking that we can do something similar with our special buildings. But, off course, I will let you choose the best way to get it done nicely.

Update on the costum. Map Good news:just checked and any costum maps can be editable but they have to be converted to .bin or .hex 'bad news:for later modding Adding countries has to be done manually which is hard

You are thinking similarly to what I'm thinking, I think. I was planning to take your texture and place it over the unwanted texture. After that we erase parts we don't need, etc. Is that what you intend to do? It worked for my developing WC3 mod.

Aleksandr Vasilevsky , personally, I would have liked to make this mod for European War 4. I worked after the mechanics of that game and the unit roaster of EW4. I don't know if belilakonja's map is for EW4 or WC3. Anything else that I need to work on? I will plan the alliances for each conquest and the campaign.

@belilakonja , would you agree to nake a map similar on size with the one from Extended Map mod? I will give you indications for each state's location in a matter of hours, including a few of their towns's location. I the nk it would be a suited size for a place such as Middle Earth.

just a thing would you like me to provide you with a blank hex map or with countries added in?
and also is it for wc3 or Ew4 if it's for wc3 I have very litlle experience with modding the game and I'll have to let adding the countries to you in the case I have to add them

@belilakonja , I have the maps. unfortunately, they are not in HEX, but they give you an idea how the nations should look like in all 6 conquests. - The war of the Last Alliance (end of Second Age) - Fall of Arnor (approximately year 1500 Third Age) - War of the Dwarves and Orcs (2791 Third Age) - War of the Ring (3018 Third Age) - Middle Earth in the Fourth Age (Rise of Men scenario - cold war between the men and the other races of Middle Earth - year 1 of the Fourth Age) - Victory of the Dark Lord (3019 Third Age) - interesting fact would be to make Saruman, helped be the Dunlandings and the Clans of Enidwaith, betrays Sauron and seeks to become the ultimate lord of Middle Earth, while the Dark Lord of Mordor and his servants are defeating the final stand of men and elves in the west
