I can't save up for Massena because conquests are very hard for me. Is Benedek good even?Don't make desperate moves. Week generals won't improve your situation either. Try to read Netherlands 1789 or 1806 guides carefully and follow instructions. ET games demand a great amount of patience. I have 970~ medals. Who should I get. Greene? Or Alexander I. For netherlands, just bribe other countries and do nothing. I don’t think it got patched, but I might have to check. But greene is a solid choice.

I invade Britain turn one sometimes. It is very hard though, and takes you like 20 turns to get a foothold. You should invade britain exactly when the spanish invade dublin. They won’t have the economy to fend you both off. You could also consider invading switzlerland turn 1 to build up your economy to invade Britain.
I have Jourdan and Clinton. Gimme some tips with them.

Gimme some tips with them. Ok. Turn 1 Declare War on Sardinia: Very important, if you forget this restart, Bribe Warsaw once, Bribe Prussia once, Move Verhuel, Dutch navy general, away from port, and destroy part. Turn 2 Bribe Poland Again Turn 5 Bribe Prussia Again Turn 6 Bribe Ottoman Turn 9 Bribe Ottoman again Turn 10 Bribe Russia 1 Turn 13 Bribe Russia 2 Turn 18 Bribe Russia 3 After that just skip until you win and lend lease your WEAKEST ALLIES (one-star, two-star countries, never a three star) I just did it with no generals. If you move verhuel and take the port down, the British won’t come after you immediately. If you don’t, they will. It works, do not spend your economy on anything else or you will not be able to afford it. The most important part of this guide is declaring war on Sardinia turn 1.

This was actually discovered by someone else, who I forgot the name of so I don’t take credit for this guide.

If Poland gets defeated, you don’t have to restart but the conquest will take longer than it usually does.

What are some other good conquests to do? For a beginner? I can’t really think of any. I think Sweden is your other option, if you can capitulate denmark you are well off. Or play as denmark and capitulate sweden. Every other country requires skill and maybe a general or two. Italy 1798 might also be one.

I need an immediate general so don't tell me to save up for anyone very expensive like Murat. Also, if I do Netherlands 1798 again, will I get the A-rank?

Since you 1100 medals, either get Masséna or Alexander.

Nah you need to sacrifice a bit more time because buying a cheap general immediately using that amount of medals (especially if you don’t have the 50% discount generals) then you might regret it Otherwise my suggestion is only the 50% generals

Nah don’t get any of those. Lannes and John are the best of them, and neither of them are really end game generals. Cuz Lannes is better than Washington, and Kutuzov and Mahmud II are better than john, so unless you want a third artillery thats not Alexander I, John is recommended. Get Masséna. You will never sell him if you know how to use him right. He makes every medal count
