I am confused : I began to play this game, but what is the :battle ability: for? Exemple : if à gen has 15% in inf ability, what will the 8% battle ability will do to the general? Hope I am understable Battle ability is the atk bonus added by the deployment to a gen. This applies to ALL unit classes (inf, navy, cav and arty). The specific ability for a gen is the atk bonus which applies to that specific class. It takes effect if the gen is on that class of units. (Eg. Jackson on cav, the cav ability bonus is factored in on top of existing bonus ability.)

For someone who's done Declaration of Independence, who should be my first (bought) general? Thanks in advance o Ney, or Murat (Only if you are willing to save up and grind) but get a cav gen first and maybe some healing items for your gens. Don't buy inf or art gens as your first as the free gens you have are decent (Jourdan is usable in 1812 and 1815 conquests, just upgrade his rank, good starting arty gen, gates and clinton are meh, falsen is also meh)
