Is buying Philipp a good idea? Um nope for a cav gen, for purple Dabrowski’s skill is better with aura skill and plain fighting. And save up a bit more, get Murat or davout, both of them is good. But if you are choosing the first general, definitely go for a infantry one, they are more useful in game no matter campaign or challenges. You can get Massena first for around the price of Philipp. |

Yes I didn’t even pass the American campaign when I bought Washington, and now I have kutuzov and Murat too all because of 1798 Netherlands conquest. Here’s what I do: Turn 1: bribe Denmark, Prussia, Russia, Ottoman and declare war on Sardinia Turn 2: bribe Italy Turn 3: bribe Naples Turn 4: bribe Warsaw Turn *7: bribe Prussia again Turn *10: bribe ottoman again And in the meantime, just destroy your port. Use the navy to intercept the British landing troop, and defence the coast. Give your extra money to Denmark, they will help you a lot later on and win the war. And after you got your first general, it will be damn easy and fun to defence the coast. |

I got bored in funding money to my allies so I invaded Britain and Prussia at 20+ turn for the sake of getting my 6 main generals into the battle too

I invade Britain turn one sometimes. It is very hard though, and takes you like 20 turns to get a foothold. You should invade britain exactly when the spanish invade dublin. They won’t have the economy to fend you both off. You could also consider invading switzlerland turn 1 to build up your economy to invade Britain.
