Also do i need navy other than hood? Most of us don’t use a navy general. I didn’t have one myself until the very last Crimean War challenge. Really if you get a navy general, make sure they have the skill escorting because you will shove your other generals such as murat on ships as well. But if you have hood, I wouldn’t rush to sell him by any means.

Ask anyone and they will all put the both of them in their top 5 generals list, a majority of which will pick Murat to be in 1st place. Massena is a good one for destroying cities as well.

All gen that have aura skill are worth keeping, for naval general, although is not necessary untill the Crimean war,but it will make your life a bit easier in the British empire campaign.hood is ok but remember change him to Nelson during Crimean war challenge. and last but not least buy equipment for your general will make your gen even better

NetherFreek, can you make a thread for Washington? I'm curious to see everyone's opinion on him.

Crimean war is doable, but you will end up with 1 stars for most campaigns Hundred years war and Spanish war is already hard enough. In a scale of 1 to "i'd rather castrate myself than playing this challenge again," how hard is the Crimean war?
