Hey, longtime Easytech fan here, I've been having trouble completing any conquest in EW6. Regardless of the side I choose, coalition or French, they other side steam rolls me and spam units like crazy. Any tip on how to fight back?
Also, I heard somewhere that if you finish French Eagle that 1798 conquest gets much easier, is this true?

If you have the latest version than French eagle than it will be easier, and make sure to use diplomacy. Picking a less significant country helps as the big ones spawn good generals

I agree that conquest is quite difficult. In EW4 once you had decent generals any country became winnable. Not so much in EW6. That being said, we have found the Netherlands to be very easy and I like the Ottomans for 3 stars.

In 1798, I win with 2 "French Eagle" coutries. - Netherlands: I think that is the easiest country to play, you just have to resist at the attack of England, send 1 or 2 troops in the "French-HRE front" for try to steal cities and prepare you to counter attack England. Italy and Ottomans will destroy Russia, France will destroy HRE and Prussia and Denmark will takes Sweden... - Spain: I finished in 130 turns but you can do better if you have better generals, Turn 1: Declare war to Sardinia and Portugal, French will easy takes Sardinia around turns 5 and you will take Portugal around turns 15. Send the troops around Barcelona in the "French-HRE front" for takes cities Turn 15: You destroyed Portugal so you can now go to Ireland (UK) and when you arrive in the "French-HRE front" with the "Barcelona troop" all French troops are dead and the cities of France and HRE are low PV, you can easy take it and wait a French support, 1 or 2 French generals will spawn. After Turn 15: After that it's easy just take cities and resist to the Prussian, HRE and Russsian offensive and counter attack, it's long but easy. NB: When you play "French Eagle" countries declare war to Sardinia at the start, France will easy take Sardinia. Cris I'm impressed that you finished Spain, I've never been able to do it. However I do believe that Ottoman is the easier of the two and faster. Have you tried it?
