Definitely Dabrowski. His nothing to be underrated because of his duke, he is the best supporter for Murat. However Davout is better when it comes to fighting alone.

The aura skill only add to the attack. I have both murat and davout and I have run many many scenarios with both and davout will consistently do more damage. Murat is nice if you have 2-3other cav generals that he can buff but when there are only one general. Davout. I bet it is a matter of preference. But dont listen to the hipe. Davout is the best! Why would you only have 1 cav general though? They seem far more important than the other types of general IMO. Davout prob does more damage because he's getting Murat's aura plus you only have 1 aura general. If you have Blucher/Murat they're adding 40 attack to all nearby friendly cavalry which makes even normal cavalry fairly strong. The added aura is also increased by % attack bonuses so the +40 attack can become like +65 attack or so. If you can get the 3 aura cav generals the upgraded +55 attack becomes like +90 attack to each of them which is ridiculous lol. I agree Davout is a good solo general (but overpriced and having a couple of weaker skills) but he doesn't make others around him stronger so adds less value to a team. For independent generals I like Paget's skillset and think he provides good value (precision, edge, surprise attack and bonus against cities...wow!). Lan also looks like great value but she's gonna take awhile for me to unlock. Who has 3 aura generals? Davout ruins things by himself. I send him with 2-3 line infantry and riflemen while massena and suvarov head up the other front. My attack groups ate as follows. Davout with Czarovich (Alaxander I), jourdan and 2-3 infantry to clean up. Second group is massena with suvarov and as many grenadiers as possible. These two attack groups move well together and really give the AI problems. Auras are amazing but unless you plan on spamming every type of unit (which is impossible in most senarios) the are not gods. Davout with an officer's sword makes a good ship captain as well. Super useful and versatile with a super high battle ability. I think it us preference. Get the aura if you like spamming. Get davout if you want a tank. |

Davout is a better option imo. Dabrowski is cheaper but just save up or get an iap so yeah. Davout is better at fighting in general, although dabrowski is tied with davout in groups. Just get davout. IMO. You could get dabrowski if you want, but i would recommend to do this.

also murat is an option if you have multiple cav gens because of aura. He can just boost the damage noicly.

It has been my experience that three cavalry generals is good. 2 inf, 3 cav, 2 art, 1 navy. So get all the good cav guys. Murat, Davout, and Dabrowski. But for first buy, Davout i think. His attack twice coupled with the natural cav ability to attack again is very mean. I have seen him remove 5 peices from the board in one turn. 5 enemy infatry destroyed bam!

There are a few options to make you're deck you can do 2-2-2-2, 3-3-2, 3-3-1-1, or 0-6-1-1 for speedruns i think 3 infantry is realy good maybe not for speedruns but if we just look at heavy power, also lan/ney are maybe even better then davout. |

Dabrowsi - Read eagle medal, lance+ambulance. Ney - Iron cross medal, sceptre+tent. Davout - Great eagle medal, helmet+tent. Lan - Iron crown medal, royal guards clothes+military suit. Well may be. I never thought who might be my 6-th cavalry general you have seen the Chinese Guy Who with 6 cav gens did saxony 28 turns, someone calculated that paget is better then davout. |
