I’d say you can’t go wrong with either. I got davout first and he was great. Now I have blucher, dabrowski, murat, and davout

Devout! He is a better stand alone general. Tou can load up horses around Murat and send devout with the cannons. Both together and Davout will be unstoppable. Davout is the best cavalry general in the game. (Non iap)

vorlian, Lan, Ney, Murat and Dabrowski are better, even as stand alones. They have overall better skills. Not sure on the BA and CA department, but skillwise, the 4 are better. Although it can be argued that Davout is slightly better than Dabrowski.

i have murat. I need a second cavalry general. Who is better Dabrowski or davout? Good question. I would prioritize on Dabrowski, since the aura skill is really important, and he is cheaper. If you aren't an IAP player, I recommend getting Murat, Dabrowski, Lan, and Ney as your cavalry generals. Davout is good, but he's just not cost-effective

Davout is the best cavalry general in the game. (Non iap) The aura skill is crazy powerful when levelled up. Get Dabrowski and keep him and Murat together and they will crush all opposition (with ambulances equipped of course). +15 cavalry damage to all cavalry within 2 squares (including the person with the skill) is too powerful to turn down. If you have many thousands of medals get both, but get Dabrowski and max out his aura skill first IMO.

The aura skill only add to the attack. I have both murat and davout and I have run many many scenarios with both and davout will consistently do more damage. Murat is nice if you have 2-3other cav generals that he can buff but when there are only one general. Davout. I bet it is a matter of preference. But dont listen to the hipe. Davout is the best!

First, the aura add damage to your troop and all surrounding troops. It is vital for spamming.Second, have you ever send a single cavalry general on a front? Yeah, bunch them up and unleash a Blucher with 200 damage on your enemies.Lastly,Davout still contests with Lan for the position of a stand alone general.

Why would you only have 1 cav general though? They seem far more important than the other types of general IMO. Davout prob does more damage because he's getting Murat's aura plus you only have 1 aura general. If you have Blucher/Murat they're adding 40 attack to all nearby friendly cavalry which makes even normal cavalry fairly strong. The added aura is also increased by % attack bonuses so the +40 attack can become like +65 attack or so. If you can get the 3 aura cav generals the upgraded +55 attack becomes like +90 attack to each of them which is ridiculous lol. I agree Davout is a good solo general (but overpriced and having a couple of weaker skills) but he doesn't make others around him stronger so adds less value to a team. For independent generals I like Paget's skillset and think he provides good value (precision, edge, surprise attack and bonus against cities...wow!). Lan also looks like great value but she's gonna take awhile for me to unlock.

hathorian, try Sweden 1812, it's safe and you can easily get an S rank. Just send some units to capture Greenland, and march your forces straight towards Italy and the Ottomans, while sending some units to Paris. Just beat Denmark and it should be easy from there. Donate to Canada and Mexico once you are sure you are winning in Europe. If you think your generals are strong enough, try Prussia 1812
