Well may be. I never thought who might be my 6-th cavalry general you have seen the Chinese Guy Who with 6 cav gens did saxony 28 turns, someone calculated that paget is better then davout. I never was a fan of Davout anyway

How is Paget better? Less ability numbers and basically the same skills? How does this game even work?

How is Paget better? Less ability numbers and basically the same skills? How does this game even work? Well, I haven't done such a research, but the only reasonable explanation is a surprise attack. Erich von Manstein explained how it is working somewhere...

Here is Erich von Manstein's comparison of Pagget and Davout. And his opinion about mechanics of ET games is very well grounded: After we have figured out the effect of Surprise Attack... Paget can be very arguably better than Davout. Paget vs Davout is SA + price vs stats + crit + Station. Cavalry generals don’t usually stay in cities(what? You use Bagration because of that? Nvm). Crit basically grants a 35% * 10% = 3.5% bonus and Davout doesn’t really have an advantage over Paget on stats, especially when Paget starts running. Also, Paget has a massive price advantage over Davout. Read more: european-war-4.boards.net/user/170/recent?page=6#ixzz5owzYXfPT

Davout is good. But, station is not. He is an infantry butcher. But, Dabrowski does more damage to all types of units. Davout's job can be done by Lan. Plus she has plain fighting.
