 I maxed Mahmud's tittle and artillery tech now. I am missing the bonus from desert fighting but the nearest desert tile is quite a long way away and I haven't upgrade his desert fighting. Mahmud's attack no terrain is a bit higher (6 att points) to Alexander I no terrain - stoic has given the screenshot both terrain and no terrain. So these gens are very close, but Alexander's terrain is more useful. However when playing Egypt, Algeria or Morocco Mahmud is awesome I suppose  |

best75, could You please assign Your Mahmud to either Spanish, Algerian or Egyptian lv2 Siege Artillery in 1812 conquest? So we could have a screenshot in the desert to be added.

Guys, I added screenshots of Victoria and Sakurako to admirals comparison. Check post#1
My opinion regarding princesses as navy gens - bad idea. Even Victoria.
Why? For completing the game You will probably need just one admiral. Imo it should be effective gen with Escorting.
Victoria's stats are the same as Senyavin (who is only a Duke!). And without Escorting her defence is aweful!
Moreover to rich these stats You need to upgrade her to Emperor. And that means she is not very cheap either. As You need to spend 9 gold medals for that. Most likely You'll have to buy it for 900 medals, as Your free gold medals You probably are going to spend for a much more useful field generals.
Sakurako is also not good. She lacks Line of Battle skill. So her final attack will be lower compared to other admirals.
So, If You need best navy gen with Escorting - take Nelson. If You need just someone cheap to boost Your field gens on ships when necessary - take someone like Senyavin.

Once you are that far in the game, I assume that gold medals aren’t an issue. |

Not impressive stats if compared to John or Alexander. But her skills are quite good anyway. She has Storm Fortification skill which is imo very important for arty general.

But Moltke's problem is that he lacks Salvo skill means in comparison with any other presented arty gen he will be even less powerful as the damage from Salvo is not shown in the stats. He is like Karl for infantry - the only one without Salvo. But unlike Karl his stats are not impressive so he can't compensate it. Ron is just too weak both stats and skills. |
