So about terrain skill... I'm not sure if I should make it City, forest or plain. Vercin has forest which means he will soak many of my forest scrolls... Leaving me with the other two. I could ignore terrain and have both assault and charge... Thoughts? Plain fighting happens all the time, so I think that is better than charge. |

Problem with hybrids is you won't have any commander skills. Although I dislike RNJ, 20%-25% chance to attack again is consistent enough. Pompey attacking 4 times in a row is a great sight to behold. That’s why i recommend putting on two leader skills and a flag for the commander skills on a hybrid. Even with no other bonuses, you can massacre a unit with those. |

If you guys make your general an infantry general, don’t rush to put both ambush and shield wall on your general. They are both great skills but unless they are maxed out, they barely trigger. Especially if they aren’t at lvl 2.
The build I tried for my infantry general: siege and tunnel + corresponding flag, plain fighting, and infantry commander works wonders. He deals upwards of around 200 damage to cities (180 average) and can attack them twice sometimes. This results in him ranking up really fast due to massive output. It also saves you from buying crassus as you have a better version of him.
How does he deal so much damage towards cities?
Lvl 7 ability (28), pompey sword (15), siege lvl 3 (36 (level 2 w/o flag)), tunnel lvl 2 (10), plain fighting lvl 1(4) = 93 damage
Thats 93 damage he can deal towards cities just from his stats. And he can also attack twice! As the flag is obtained very early in the game, this is a very powerful build. I found myself constantly altering the skills because I thought he was lacking, but I think I found the perfect combo.

Well i make my commander a cavalry one. He skill are: -Cav commander -Guerrilla -Assault -March He will be a Hannibal - Antony mixture. And for my second cav general probably i will hire Huo (guerrilla + counterttack + high critical rate) or Antony ( Deleted convince me, Cav commander + charge + a very fast foots, i know because Antony become the best general of Caesar  ) |

I am doing just fine with only 4 (beat the last expedition didn’t I?) i did that mistake in the first one. I would wait till your generals are max rank to purchase additional ones |

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus, what generals you have? for the moment i only have my commander (i need around 700 medals to level the rank to marshal and buy the Crown) Pacorus I (very cheap, very good), Pompey (the GOD Pompey), Mithridates Vi (the guy with the most cool hat in the game) and Drusus (The natural Body fitness Drusus) I think your team is very strong, probably better than mine. Mine is the 3 iaps (hannibal, spartacus, and caesar) and the commander. If you want to make a change, I’d recommend swapping Pacorus I with Commius. Otherwise, your team is very powerful. Maybe another infantry general next would be the best course of action, like ver, crassus, or even segestes will do |

Friedrich “Fried Rice” Paulus , yes, probably i will buy crasus after i upgrade my commander to marshal and buy the crown, He have the potential to be a Infantry gen for the moment (7 infantry points and Laurel crown + Marshal rank + Talent and March + the new Gallic armor) and with the new Update, we can earn around 600- 700 medals more, perfect for buy Crasus.
