Been reading the reviews for the game, and a lot of people are complaining about how hard the game is, even those who bought IAPs. How difficult is the game, and where does it rank in the difficulty ranks in terms of easytech games?. This may change after easytech releases a new update, but as of now, how difficult is it?

This game seems harder to me than World Conqueror 4. Apparently, the resources are harder to get, and i think the stats of the generals are more difficult to comprehend.
Judging by the fact that buying the IAP generals in WC4 with the exception of Eisenhower made the game much easier, whereas here it’s still seen as difficult, yes, the game seems to be harder than WC4. Maybe harder than EW6, too,

I also don’t think there are missions for getting discounted generals that are good or even among the best in the game (Rommel, Konev, Nimitz)

Maybe harder than EW6, too, Well, I think just buying Manstein was enough, because buying him provides you with a high-tier general that allows you to make better progress in the beginning. The fact that tanks ruled WC4 also helped. It also makes it redundant to buy Rokossovsky who is seen as someone effective yet that requires considerable investment to be made great. |

On a scale of 1-5, 1 being very easy, 5 being very hard, I would rate this game with a 4 (Hard). My rate of WC4 is 3 (Medium), which is also my rating for EW6. |

The fact that some conquests in WC4 were doable without generals (Finland 1939 is an excellent example. Despite being an one-star country, you don’t even need generals to complete the conquest) whereas even the Punic Wars here seem to require generals, also seems to imply that this game is harder than those 2 previous Easytech titles. |

I think the IAPs in EW6 were also mostly helpful, and if I am not mistaken, to get the princesses you should do some missions, like the Famous Generals in WC4. GCR seems to lack that system. |

Yes, now I’m on the verge of buying to get my seven general (probably i’ll buy Hannibal) - although I have Mithridates Vi, Pacorus I, Anthony, Cleopatra and My commander (Infantry). And Yet I find myself in danger if I make mistakes, I am complacent with my Allies 😂

But again, players should understand that they are playing strategy games, meaning everything could happen in the game depending on what did you do to the situation. And with that, The game is somewhat relative, For veterans maybe easy or Hard, and for new comers that most of the time commit mistakes, the games is hard 😂 |

Although having to build tier 5 cities to heal your elite troops adds a bit of depth to the game, as you have to choose which city to go after first |
