Yes, they have no retaliation but can't retaliate. That's one thing that I still can't get used to in WC4.

I know this is a bit late for this thread, but I think Rokossovsky can be used as a potential infantry commander too. He is pricy (2nd most expensive) but comes as a tank/infantry hybrid. Yes he does lack skills in infantry but he has shelter expert and supply which is great for conquests. Not to mention his marshal rank...

He can be used on Infantry but he will eventually be slaughtered. He only has 4 stars meaning around 20+ damage but once he gets below %50 hp, his output decreases drastically. Plus for his price of 3400, he just doesn't do the tank/infantry role well enough. Someone like Konev can work much better as Konev has 2 dedicated Infantry skills which will allow him to continue fighting. His Marshal rank is his only redeeming feature but considering Infantry is really fragile, the lvl 2 supply won't keep him fighting for long. Happy first post and welcome to the forums btw!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Iām still thinking about using Rokossovsky as a tanker. The tide of iron is level 3, not the best but still there. Also his shelter expert can reduce nuke damage by 40 or so in addition to avoiding some area damage. The supply skill is also valuable too.

In my opinion, Rokossovsky is just too expensive, someone like Timoshenko has the same tank stars, tide of iron, and marching. Only 1 less level in Panzer Leader and Supply, only 50 less health but an entire 1.2k medals cheaper. WC3 is much less forgiving in medal wasting than WC4 so every medal counts. Guderian, Rommel, and Patton/Vatutin are the generic recommendations for tankers.

I have a question: When building the EC's, should I save the medals and make him in one go or should I go building it over time? And how many medals does each one of them cost?

Build them over time. But focus on buying Ozava, Guderian, Govorov, Paton then on ec generals. First make 2 ec arty gens, and ec tank general in the end. Around 10000 medals each as I remember for full upgrades . I uploaded my screen shots on the forum.

Actually hereās what you should do.
Instead of going out and purchasing an awful infantry general (all of them are pretty bad tbh, and have at most 2 ideal skills). Make on of your ecs an intantry artillery hybrid, a tank artillery hybrid, and a tanker.
For the infantry artillery hybrid, give the general either only bayonet charge. Get artillery barrage as the only artillery skill. Make the remaining skills plain fighting, explosives, and supply. Give him 3 stars in infantry. And congrats, you have by far the best infantry general in the game just with the plain fighting bayonet charge combo. You have an artillery general better than govorov. And you can play those hilarious one star nations like mexico 1943 and have fun. And you have someone so op with only investing one skill and some infantry stars on your general.

The terrorists in WC4 are basically the ECs built to be powerful, alongside some other 3 unique guys. If you put enough effort, you can make each of your ECs look like the WC4 terrorists. It takes however a monstrous amount of time. Thus, I recommend that you go for the academy generals. A solid EC, either tank or artillery, costs around 4K. He will have 3* in respective area, lvl3 plain fighting, lvl2 tide/barrage, 3* movement, major general, lvl2 explosives, and blitzkrieg/ace forces. Not super expensive considering his ability. The reason why ECs are expensive is because promoting from m general to marshal + last ability star + last 2 movement stars = 5000+ medals.

Ecs can be very strong. But guderian as an ec costs 7750 medals same strength. You will make generals with tide of iron/artillery barrage at lvl 2, maybe lvl 3 at most at best. Holy moly thats like 4400 medals moreš³š³ No thanks man im going to keep guderians crown hereššat most ill build good arty ecs or tank ecsĀ

Don't think many people will even think about replacing Guderian.
