I have upgraded my shield of thunder, golden spear, and ganjiang sword. I plan to upgrade the Augustus helmet next. I look forward to see what this epic war about, we might be able to get more pure metal there. Same here, no regrets on spear and shield, whereas for the third item, I'm still holding on to 4x pure metal. It's a shame that no f2p artifact gets extra critical hit rate on lv2. And paying for the Proof of Honor extension will only give 4 more metals, so there has to be another way in the future (worst case iap shop)

I don't like to create unnecessary new threads, either, but for the updates I think it's useful to have a thread that contains all the information on the new content. I brought the pack which gives the goujian sword and shennong tripod. They both cost 3 metal to upgrade. I upgraded both and have 2 metal left. I only gotten the 18 metal from arena and 2 from proof of honor. I haven't done epic war. Epic war is a blessing in metal gain. There are 2 chapters and they give 10 metal each. There are still 2 chapters coming soon. If they still give 10 metal each then there will be a total of 60 pure metal for f2p
I have a vague idea of what I want to upgrade next with more metal.

I had some consideration for the tutankhamun dagger due to the presence of the new god enemies which have massive amount of hp. Unfortunately on close examination of their abilities the emperor chariot, dragon, horus and barbarian king are immune to the plague. Plague works only on the ancient giant and Achilles.
The original IAP items have been buffed and they certainly look interesting. I am really considering getting the eye of horus. Its HP gain looks good but the 25% chance to decrease morale intrigues me. The generals with rumour are generally considered too weak for endgame so this is our only chance for rumour in endgame. Feels like it could be decently helpful in defeating the gods.

It's not clear Every weapon type in the game (slashing, piercing, blunt etc.) has advantages over some armor types (and, on the contrary, there are disadvantages when fighting against unfavorable armor types)  As I understand the description of the skill, it improves the bonuses against favorable armor types. |
