There's no poll for this because it is quite open to the floor. __________________________________________________________ Context: With the introduction of the <Skill Reset> feature and in the future, possibly new generals, the situation has changed slightly. Additionally, the 2 blue free inf gens (Carol I and Esperey) seem to be quite expendable given their low raw strength (BA + Inf Abilities) and limitations in terms of number of skills. I am considering whether to replace them and who is best to do so. With my current best inf gens being Bodyazhiev and Grant (I heavily invested in his skills up until Count so I prefer him over Nicholas who I neglected). __________________________________________________________ There's MacArthur with his Inf Commander, Boroevic, Haig, Lee and even Macmahon and Bismarck had been recommended before! Certainly, we can judge them based on calculated raw strength: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12145/inf-generals-max-battle-ability by dagonithtrThrough comparisons: european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12151/haig-boroevicAnd european-war-4.boards.net/thread/12193/general-potential-price-comparisonI hope to hear more thoughts in a thread that acts as a summary to this issue. Who do you think deserve to be the 4 endgame inf gens a player can/should have and why?

But bismarck is a pretty solid cheap alternative (only counterattack has to go). But those 4 are the best in their tier

I completed the whole game with 3 stars including all conqueats, except 2 Bulgarian and Romanian missions without generals and there were only few missions that I used 2 or more infantry generals. So 2 are enough, 3 is welcome but not necessary.

You only need two inf endgame gens though. True, but say we maximise the 12 slots, who should we buy? That's^^ the real question.

We have 20 slots but if you want to maximise every slot I think you would get for inf Haig, e lee and boerovic, for cav Jackson, Johnston and Joffre, for arty the three gold gens and for navy bacon and Beatty. The other slots would I keep open because we will have to switch generals for the history missions
