Agreed. U.S has been a declining country like russia after the cold war. This is due to mainly to outsourcing. That's completely true. We've ditched the basics, which causes us to depend on others for our economic strength. The country is losing money because there's more imports and less exports. Plus less jobs cuz of that too. The us is still a decent country, its just not an easy one to live in

Yes, and someone said in youtube that maybe the end of the day US is not the strongest country anymore. Btw, I heard the news saying that the economy of china didnt decline much in this current happenings. Something fishy or not?

And the USA still is the dominant world power and will probably stay that for quite some time. Covid 19 could change this but at the moment the China is aging faster then the USA because of the one childpolicy and young Mexican immigrants. This will damage the Chinese economy. But it’s going to be a global recession, all countries will lose. A recession doesn’t have real winners

And what we can do now is trust our president.

Many of these are poor especially considering how most products are manufactured in china (factory workers). So it is very likely that the very low covid 19 figures in china are much worse than their published numbers. I seriously doubt that all 1.4 billion of those people have been tested for covid 19.

Trust your local government and give them everything you can give them; everything you give them will be used to help people around you directly.

A recession doesn’t have real winners taiwanese news offer a great insight into what's actually going on, but Im not sure whether theres a translated version available from the globally inaccessible, local chinese news

Not backstabbing the taiwanese news but they're kinda bias towards US so I would stay neutral upon all their media statements. Some of the so called 'experts' and 'analyst' bashed my country with false evidence and provoking statements. They woked the entire country up when our people start responding bavk at em.

Biased towards the US? Politically and militarily their only major backing lies there, and I was rather confused at their apparent stance towards the US as well. Not that they overdid it compared to their traditionally anti-mainland tendencies. I guess their motives lie indiscernible for the moment

Not really. It's as clear as daylight but lets not get in depth imo. Off course their a bit biased towards de US, the US is their biggest ally so it’s natural that they like them more. And it’s very hard to be unbiased especially if your readers are also pro US.

but then again due to our friend, agenda, nothing can be fully reliable now... especially cross strait relations and power dynamics In the Netherlands we have very reliable State funded media, they specialised in putting absolutely no opinion in their news this makes them sometimes unpopular and people then say that there are so biased which is not the case. People want to hear their own opinion so many people dislike neutral news

People want to hear their own opinion so many people dislike neutral news Even as the truth goes that nothing can be unbiased and objective, we tend to classify the norm in relation to the more exaggerated, hostile media examples we see today. Its a new reality, one that is hyperreal
