Not really. It's as clear as daylight but lets not get in depth imo. Off course their a bit biased towards de US, the US is their biggest ally so it’s natural that they like them more. And it’s very hard to be unbiased especially if your readers are also pro US. And surprisingly Taiwan news seems to be biased _against_ the US! I cannot disprove that for that holds true in several news sites, but its motives remain a mystery

In the United States, there is no state-owned media. Everywhere else, there is US government media (they're banned from broadcasting in the US).
We've got basically only one very reliable news source that is available to most people - The Associated Press. The other super reliable source is NPR, but they're not that widespread.
A majority of Americans use the right-leaning Fox News or the left-leaning CNN.
Populism strikes again.
Basically, we've got a large minority of people who are politically unaffiliated (PEW Research, a reliable polling group, puts the population at 32%-38%) and a majority of people who are politically affiliated [meaning they'd vote for a party even if they disagree with the candidate's views] (slight edge towards the GOP/Republican Party, who I believe should be renamed the Conservative Party, split into the Jesus Party (Republican Study Committee) and the Main Street Party (centrist Republicans); the Democratic Party should be renamed the Liberal Party, split into the Progressive Party (people like Bernie Sanders), the Authoritarian Party (SJWs), the New Democrat Party (Obama, Biden, Bill Clinton, etc), and the Environment Party (Stein, etc).

Both CNN and Fox News are very controversial.

The advantage of state owned and funded media is that they don’t need to make a profit. The result of this is that they can do a lot of research and not only report news but also create news by uncovering scandals and mistands. What I’ve heard about us media is that they’re re very corporate

Man, it seems we are doing surprisingly better than the US. We have got 54 people cured, 190 current patients and only 7 dead( most of them were affected by diabetes and low or high blood pressure and were above 60 age). I heard malaria medicine (Hydroxochloroquine) is used to treat Covid 19 virus and it is produced locally. We are also producing and distributing masks freely for people ( volunteer ). We also have taken Robot technology into hospitals which is great progress as a developing country. I am proud to be a Sri Lankan.

Here in Illinois I believe the infected amount of people is like 17,000, mostly from Chicago, which is about 1.5 hours from where I live. For an advanced country, we kinda suck at stopping this thing

We have seen te same problem in Brazil, bolsonaro first said it’s not important then the states said it’s important we’re going to take measures. Then bolsonaro said you can’t do that think about the economy and I will survive because I’m healthy. And now he has taken measures but he’s still shaking hands

He's a business without much politics background at the first place I really doubt him even I dont live in america. Idk, the presidents in my life time (george w bush, obama, and trump) very not good to say the least. The one that did the most harm to our country was definitely bush so trump is marginally better. Still, its high time we had some effective leadership
