1.Nimitz= Skill Ace forces(Lvl2)=good skill for a naval general to have since navy has so much hp Naval gun strike(Lvl2)=the tide of iron of the sea, amazing skill to have Woflpack(Lvl2)=navy aura that buffs yourself and your allies by 3 stars!!the best skill a naval general could ask for!
Pros Near perfect skills for a navy gen Montrous +47 output on navy Air power utility
Cons Helpless on land
2.Halsey Skills Air force cluster(Lvl2)=best skill an air gen could ask for! amazing skill! Sea scout(Lvl2)=a pretty good skill for navy gens since navy has long range and pretty short scouting range Ace forces(Lvl1)=a decent skill for navy gens but with it only being Lvl1 you can expect it to not make a great impact
Pros One of the best allied air gens Really cheap
Cons Lack luster navy output
3.Mountbatten Skills Torpedo expert(Lvl1)=a very usefull skill for battling other naval units Logistics(Lvl2)=very handy for improving survivability Destroy(Lvl2)=a great skill for dealing high damage!
Pros High mobility Good naval output Decent artillery general Cheapest tier 4 general Excellent availability
Cons To rellient on crits

Nimitz is the best navy for allies and I'm alright with him being useless everywhere else. It's better to have 1 amazing general than a decent hybrid

Believe it or not guys, but I think that the best allied naval general is Spruence/Pound/King. These 3 together are cheaper than Nimitz and can outperform him in pure naval battles. But, of course, Nimitz is better in combined see/land operations. I would like to see what we need most eventually before buying an allied admiral...

I mean nimitz makes a very compelling case offering +47 damage in ships, having naval aura and ace forces which is usually strongest on high hp naval units but the 3 cheaper options you've listed do seem promising alternatives..

But imo, aura is very useful and nimitz outperforms them. But they are good too.

Yeah, I agree it is a debatable question It really depends on what we'll need most. In land/see operations we can't deploy 3 admirals, I believe, since we can't weaken our land forces too much. But in naval battles when the rest of our squad is close to useless this "wolves' pack" might be an interesting alternative. eeeeef, if you will add this to the pull I will give my vote to them

I mean when Nimitz is under our command in campaigns and we have our own Nimitz... I think it is a very interesting question for Air Commanders as well...

Well they don't specify that the auras can or can't stack so it can go either way 1 way I know of testing this theory is by playing battle of stalingrad and deploy zhukovs alongside the reinforcements zhukov. hey yuanzhong do you mine you test this out real quick?

Well that's unfortunate Well, that is expected. The last time we see stacking aura is in EW6:1804 where it is too powerful. ET has made adjustment regarding this matter since GCR so it is natural that it also does not stack here.

I think Halsey shouldn't be on this list. He should be compared to Dowding instead of Nimitz. His aerial strength is always no weaker than Dowding and in many cases better. In addition to that, Halsey is way more likely to show up in the next two scenarios than Dowding.

But by that definition yamamoto shouldn't be included in the 3 axis navy general options, halsey has 3 naval stars the same as mountbatten and has a skill set comparable to hoth's but the naval equivalent, he does main air but he does has some merit on navy that makes him an option worth considering

Halsey's naval aspect isn't terrible but it is probably on par with the likes of King and Pound. Nimitz(and his aura)'s absolute dominance in allied navy and the presence of Cunningham make getting other pure admirals kind of pointless.

So the point of this is getting the 3 most expensive navy allied gens and just order them on how strong they are in navy? Then I even disagree, the ranking is as easy on this case as placing them in order of more expensive to least. Mountbatten will beat Halsey any day in a navy fight. Halsey tier 2 skills are both focused on air, while his tier 1 is general skill (kinda weak too) for any type of troop, which he doesn't really benefit from as air gen as the planes won't do more damage if he raises his level. Mountbatten on the other hand has all 3 skills being focused on naval combat, and they both have +15 damage for naval. So its pretty clear Mountbatten beats and hard Halsey on naval. I'd also say Kuznetsov (really solid navy defense gen), Spruance or King (which I wish he had 1 point in movement, but for 165 medals, almost a third of the price of Halsey, its understandable it doesn't have it) are better gens than Halsey, and all cheaper.
DO NOT BUY HALSEY, he is bad Arnold that you're given for free fills the carrier well enough, and he can be used on land operations with better effectiveness than Halsey thanks to his 2 points on artillery and 2 points on movement. Halsey is a trap, he is not bad per se, but he is indeed very bad when compared to others, in both air and navy. In navy he doesn't even make it to top 5, even less when looking at its price. As allied air general, there is very little variety, as there are only 4 allied generals designed for air combat (Dowding, Halsey, Arnold and Christian), and yes, he is top 2 of that list, but as you're given the top 3 for free, it is a bit pointless to get him.
Worth noting that having navy points on a carrier is not like in previous games, here it's useless as now carriers won't counterattack in melee.
