Cheap alternatives to Nimitz are a viable option too, imo. Spruance is a very interesting admiral for his price... But, again, even this isn't necessary...

Stoic how did you perfect clear those insane Japanese special missions? In fact Infantry is the key. Almost all special chapters include Airborne operations. So, I upgraded all important Infantry special forces too. I think Yamashita and Doenitz or Nagumo are very helpful to complete all chapters with all secondary objectives. |

Nagumo does wonders on the Pacific axis campaign, and you'll also get a top tier navy gen for Army Groups and whatever ET adds to this game later on.
For allied Pacific Campaign, Mac Arthur was enough, as with the navy general and air general we're given sea was covered.

Remember not only new campaigns and army groups are pending to be added, but also ET commented "We will release some information about new mode later." just a day ago, so yes, although may be like United Front in where Generals can't be used, I highly doubt so.
