stoic, are you're considering giving him Thunder in player controlled game modes, but changing it for AI controlled ones? Under the best circumstances, he can possibly activate BOTH aura and Thunder, but I'm a bit too lazy to switch it out for Arena and Legend mode as well as plan my movements that precisely. My guess it won't hurt if he is equipped with Thunder in Arena battles, because Commander skills are less decisive there. Crit rate increase is a good thing to have on the other hand. But in Legend mode battles I would prefer Commander skill activation to Thunder attack. Yet, since we'll farm Nordic decisive battle instead of Greek Trial 3 or 4, equipping him with Thunder won't be a blunder either.

I just had a thought.... Joan/Suleiman with Aegis. Shield + -75% damage! That would make them one of the tankiest generals out there, maybe even more so than Ceaser? Thoughts? suleiman, Nobunaga Oda, Iron Duke, stoic ?

U forgot petain my boy. He heals too, has commander and can activate both abilities so he is best. And sulieman is meant to be a frnot line so i prefer him with bottle or thunderer or kasugai.

I gave him the ring that provides a chance for a morale boost. Petain is good as a survivor, period. He NEEDS a way to boost his attack. As for Joan of Arc, her healing is the most important aspect. If you cannot unleash it consistently, then having Ageis would only make her akin to the high def, but low atk "god gens'.

For the first time I noticed that Thunder is far more expensive to upgrade than other mythological weapons. It is interesting, because it is a sign that ET, probably, consider it as a more valuable sword than Gungnir, for example. I find Thunder an excellent weapon to equip Attila. First, crit rate of the weapon is insane, and Attila is usually our best DD. Second, it is always nice to place Rumor debuff without being counterattacked. And, third, Attila is able to activate both - his Commander skill and an active ability of the sword.

And golden mask. Is it not more expensive? Honestly i have never taken my any artifact above lvl seven cause i dont play legend or arena. I am too lazy for them. But thundrer, aegis ,gungnir and bottle are more worth upgrading by my perspective. G mask is waste and as for energy ring it is even worse. Myl and kasunagi might still show some use.

I think you're right though that Gungnir & Mystletainn were cheaper to upgrade. Perhaps it's just because you get them later when there are more relics available to collect?

Difficult to say but the difference is quite significant.

There are rare instances of Holy Relics being given out in Challenge Mode which strengthens the guess that ET intentionally made the two Relics cost more to upgrade.
Ming Dynasty's bonus is Holy Relics.

I have found that Kursenagi-No-Tsurenagi on an Artillery general to be particularly effective.

My little sibling just found an exploit I'm not sure many people know. If your general has rage activated and holding thunder, all units that attack them will get rumored without the rage going away. Thought y'all should know about this.

Thought y'all should know about this. Is it the same for Golden Mask and Energy Ring? Those two are already passive and give a chance of lowering enemy morale when attacked, while thunder should activate rumor only when attacking (with rage activated). But when leaving thunder active without attacking anyone, all enemy units that attack your general will be stunned if they get retaliation (assuming they survive). It's a known bug. I thought it had been fixed, but no, it's still there.
