Don Quixote de la Mancha, if your ally declares war on someone you don't have to. That is why we now only have defense packs and proclaim independence. Defense is where you have to join ,as of proclaim you trade something to be protected. For example if eeeeef traded jokes for freedom.

Moreover, I think that the Darth Vader should be the refree for this one. You can borrow battalions from fellow powers on your side as though they don't declare war and are neutral, they still favour you. |
