Allied generals have actually did not show any serious talent in warfare. Exception is Zhukov. Except an incident where Patton rescued his son in law and many others from a concentration camp, many kms into the enemy territory Zhukov was worse than Vasilevsky! But why?

Zhukov,Patton or any allied general has everything to use but axis general's has limited resources most of the time. Axis Generals came up with creative ideas while only Zhukov and Dowding came up with something creative ( Patton copied Blitzkrieg tactics)

Zhukov copied Voroshilov's Winter War tactics, while fighter interception was nothing new. 2. To be fair, Guderian copied Liddell Hart's tank tactics.

The Winter War was one of the biggest failures of WWII. I'm shocked Stalin didn't have Voroshilov sent to Siberia or executed after that. Zhukov didn't copy his tactics, he came up with a plan to hold Moscow until reinforcements arrived. Also, was Operation Bagration not his idea?

1. Rommel was brilliant, but inexperienced, and had "logistical issues." Rommel was inexperienced. How? He had seen action in the great war on both Italian front( because most underrated nation of the war according to present day pushed 150 km into Italian territory) and the western front.

Liddell hart at best only theorised the armored vehicles use roughly.
