Which Lannes you mean?
From the Academy - No. - an IAP has to be good from the counter - He is: Lames much too slow.
Ingame you get him always with the horseshoes. 74/4 or 150/8
On infantry every ingame general with massfire is great - leadership and assult art on top make him fantastic.
On cavalry he is ok, but not great. Geography +2 move - that's it.

Atleast better on cavalry than those specialist cavalry generals of lower tier (and I dare say) some of the tier 2 ones too.

It's like playing with them for free lol. I do really like 1809 French conquest. I do really like the number of generals they give and your economy is not bad. I think there might be slight edge for Blues there. No. of strong generals

ΒΏ You want pay 5 (real) credits to buy a cavalry general without strike and with 1 movement ? Oh NO ! If you pay the cheat must help directly. Leadership for cavalary is only interresting with high movement. Ingame he is great, but not for your headquarter: - he has two with items replacable skills - Assult Art is not reliable - the missing movement is horrible - no evasion skill He has cavalary stars for his role in the story, but he is not good on cavalry.

No. I just meant he makes up for an ok hybrid. Also, this is supposed to be an analysis of the general so I think we can ignore the cost

In 1806 you get Lannes on Guards cavalary, 1809 on dbl grenadiers.
The three cavalary movement are nice, but over the conquest his performance on infantry 1809 is so much better.
IαΈΏ working on the 1809 Victoria guide. Round 38 is the target.
