C-3PO actually had a silver leg for the rest of the original trilogy.

I watched the 2 trilogies and “briefly” the new one (but I don’t like it, so it will count for me as an experiment). In the past I watched The Clone Wars since Crystopsis, but all that computer graphics disappointed me, even if it was interesting. Previously, when I was a kid, I watched with joy the 2003 series designed by Tartakowskji. Recently I watched “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Feet”. Filoni did a great job and I hope he’ll remake the entirety of the Clone Wars with this style, but I know it’s most unlikely.

I mean, I know they did 3D animation because they feared in 2D all the story would have become too much kids' material. I'm a fan of 2D animation, however "The Clone Wars" (and I still have some lego sets somewhere) brought some solid canon material, even if General Grievous was considerably weaker than in legends. Cad Bane is a cool character, even in "The Book of Boba" and I hope he's still alive like they rumor.

I think the Skywalker saga happened due to 2 major mistakes by Obi Wan Kenobi.
1. He gave up too quickly on Anakin. I mean come on! By the time Luke fought his father, Vader was already seduced by the dark forces for maybe 40 years I think. Still, after completely learning the power of the dark side, he killed Darth Sidious. Why? Because Luke believed strongly that his father was not bad. He just needed someone to believe in him. After all, he was traumatized with her mother dying in her hands and having visions of Padme dying during her childbirth.
On the other hand, look at Kenobi. Sure, Anakin threatened to kill Padme, but still, I believe that Kenobi gave up too quickly on him.
2. Obi Wan failed to kill Anakin properly. He could have given him a peaceful death by killing him with his lightsaber. But instead, he chose to let him BURN!!? Burning someone knowingly is the worst crime. I think that it increased Anakin's hatred towards Kenobi and completed his defection into the dark side.
Obi Wan Kenobi messed up really bad. But still, Revenge of the Sith remains my favourite movie, followed by Return of the Jedi. In particular, that last scene where Yoda, Kenobi and Anakin stood together was satisfying. With that, I'd like to apply to the group. I've seen only the first 6 movies, though I hope to watch the remaining 3 movies.
Oh, I'll even watch the Mandalorian and the Book of Boba Fett. Has anyone watched the new series named Obi Wan Kenobi?

Thanks for adding me to the group Kliment Jefremovitš Vorošilov. Also, I've read negative comments about the last 3 movies. Why so? However, I do feel uninterested in watching the last 3 movies because the Skywalker saga, according to me, has reached to an end in a satisfying condition (For me at least).

Has anyone watched the new series named Obi Wan Kenobi? Yes Loki, I’m watching Kenobi and it’s pretty good. I didn’t like some parts of the scenography (like the inside of Vader’s castle, which resembled to be a bad CGI from Uganda Film Inc.). The last three episodes had the best special effects, but many elements in the scripts were disappointing or out of context, like the pseudo-cavalry charge on a sith ship. It was banal to add another sort of Death-Star, but Sidious was good and the end was the best part to me. Some more credits go to the wicked military business exposed where both sides buy and sell death-machines. My favourite movie of the saga was ROTS too
