Alright, I'll start by listing some controversial and possibly cringe opinions and then you guys can roast me. 1. The Mandalorian isn't that great, it feels kinda formulaic and I never made a connection to any of the main characters. Plus knowing that the protagonist can't die kills any kind of stakes that the show tries to implement 2. The Last Jedi isn't terrible if you look at it as an individual movie. It's pretty bad as a SW movie but outside of the SW franchise it's alright. 3. A New Hope is better than Empire Strikes Back. I think ESB has worse pacing and it's a bit more lacking in substance than ANH. 4. The Rise of Skywalker is great (actually jk it's terrible lol I couldn't find two things I liked about it)

As for TPM, I will say that it is my favourite SW movie, even though in terms of quality I'd place it in the bottom half.

the last jedi and rise of skywalker are, in my opinion, horrible. Ye ROTS is horrible. I thought the second act was decent but when one third of a movie is decent at best my rating for it ends up being about a 1 or 1.5 out of 4. I'm pretty conflicted on how I rate TLJ though. As a SW fan I REALLY don't like how inconsistent it is with canon and how it is thematically exactly the same as the OT despite fans of the movie being vehement that it takes Star Wars in a different direction. But as for the quality of the movie itself, separate from SW, I thought that there were enough superficially good things with the movie (as in the visuals, etc.) that I can sort of ignore the visible lack of effort put into the rest of the film. I also kind of have to take in account the fact that I really like the prequels but in terms of quality TPM and AOTC are like a 2.5 out of 4 at best, and I'd say that TLJ is probably somewhere around there as well.

Rogue One was way better than all the new trilogy in my opinion, plus it has a good soundtrack I agree, Disney's best SW movie was easily Rogue One, even though it had pacing issues and I found a hard time connecting to the characters the first time I watched it. In terms of giving scores in general, here's my ratings for each movie (out of 4): TPM: 2.5 AOTC: 2+ (above 2 but not quite a 2.5) ROTS: 3 ANH: 3.5+ ESB: 3.5 ROTJ: 3 TFA: 3- TLJ: 2.5 TROS: 1+ And the 2 spin-offs: Rogue One: 3+ Solo: 2.5

This ranking is surely honest, to me. The prequels, though, were surely the best inspiring Star Wars movies for merchandising in general: I remember when I was a kid I used to buy many AOTC and ROTS lego sets. However my favourite ship was from the episode V: a Boba Feet slave 1 which I still have somewhere in garage

Also what's your rating for all the movies?

Recently finished watching volume 1 of Vision after being a year behind. Even if Anime is not my type and barely connected to the Star Wars universe. For an anthology series, I gotta admit that the visuals are fantastic, especially with The Duel being my favorite of all the nine episodes.

Also what's your rating for all the movies? -On top I choose episode 3, my first Star Wars movie. I still remember I was about 6 yo and my dad slept all the time. This film is full of memes and riflessive or sad parts (Padme’s death soundtrack reminds me of the “Voca mecumbenedictis” from Mozart). -Then episode 5, 4, 1, 2, 6 (but the last scene of Vader’s cremation is the most emotional in all the saga, together with its soundtrack). -Rogue One is something different (in a good sense), so much that it shines alone and more than all the new trilogy. However I can’t say the same for Solo, which was overshadowed by the tc series Mandalorian (yes, that shiny bounty hunter has a better story than this film of Han Solo, sadly. Welp that’s a waste of a chance, imo). -Episode 7 was “the best amongst the worst” films, thanks to that nazi new order scene and the new big death star. -Episode 8 was a bit “meh”, but I still had some hope for the sequel. -Episode 9 was delusional and luckily I didn’t pay to watch it in theatre (somewhere it seemed like the lord of the rings, which is pure laziness of the film director).
