Some more basics if they can help Upgrade leadership, comm, braveness to at least lvl 6 Logistics bugle and inspiration to lvl 8 is better imo. There are few tips here and there given in game playing with exact strategy can make u win with low troops too however some lvl are difficult due to mechanics u accidentally trigger. In some matches it is better to play two times to get intel then plan and play. For example in first age(classical) Alexander campaigns, u dont have to do anything desperate cause our ai frnd is too op. In caesar(from same age) u have to ignore one objective to slow its destruction and take other objective first(ibro river). In same caesar u have to split ur army so first u must try checking the map. U will find taking cav to top, arch to bottom and two supporters switching here and there are better. Will u buy anything or free to play?

Oh, EW5 conquests are boring and pretty straightforward. Some players say they are fun, but I don't have any idea why they think so But the last one is really challenging with good rewards. Take into account that you have to complete all of them one after another. For example, you get a legendary sword as reward for completing Gunpowder age conquest in less than 60 turns ( this one to be precise ). But you won't be able to get your sword until you complete all previous stages as well. Stoic sir Let me add. If u do later ages beforehand u cant collect them before but u still get it without having to do it all again Sure, but it is still frustrating.

stoic, any records for this game? You mentioned how conquest is boring, so i doubt there would be any conquest records here.

Of course it should come with a disclaimer that any attempts are at the players own risk due to high rates of suicidal tendencies from sheer boredom

There is definitely a field for competition.

I also tried conquest, and i now understand why you called them boring.

After Attila, I would say to get Edward and Nobunaga in Empire, Upgrade Cleo/Khalid and Alex with you, along with Saladin and Barbarossa, and maybe get Li Shimin. Then you should be good until Gunpowder. Right now, get Moctezuma, then Upgrade Atilla's Braveness to 10 and Commander to 6.

CavCom it is then? Attila is your star. Accompany him with Asoka and/or Edward. EFC prefers Edward while Baidu prefers Asoka. Suriyothai has an amazing skill set after awakened but at this stage of the game she is a bit squishy. You can add 1 or 2 non-commander cavalry generals, with the top favorites being Saladin and Blucher. You will also need some other units as supporters. There are quite a handful you can choose from, including Nobunaga, Cleopatra, Bismarck, Moctezuma, Mulan, etc.

I might even buy some IAP or items, tho after stoic inspired me, I probably would just play all E. T games at this point as F2P, as I find it more fun beating the game with resources given. Kinda feel ashamed I was once p2w actually, in a strategy game no less. But that's just me, I'm not shaming those who chose the path of the PayPal. That said, I'm curious about archers. They seem to be the safest way to go at it. And are using single coms effective early to mid game? It seems like using strong generals to get over early and mid game is the way to go. Also, thanks for guiding me and giving me advice, I really appreciate it
