Normal suri, debatable, stat wise yes, skill wise no. Awakened suri, that's a different beast. not even awakened suri. i am talking about awakened suri, not her normal form nobody would talk about her normal form it always goes about her awakened form so the fuss about suri is unacceptable Price performance wise, i'd say she's the best. She's early enough compared to awakened pachacuti. She has bravery and plunder, which mean despite her stats which are comparable to blue generals, she has a lot of survivability. With inspiration always up, bugle pretty much does nothing to her, and that bumps up her stats(aside from hp) to be comparable to that to purple generals. What makes her even more useful is that she has cavalry commander, 50% attack to other cavalry generals for 3 turns. And among the 4 cav commanders, she's second to Attila, and that's only because Attila has better stats. Genghis khan has better stats, but at the end of the day, one hit from leadership and he's out. Leadership can hit Suri, but as long as she can activate her cavalry commander, she doesn't have to worry about being useless. With plunder, she's also indispensable in Ragnarok, while Genghis has to rely on Bottle of life to not get curbstomped. Let's not even talk about the medal cost. The only thing that's really holding her back is her health, which is only that of a blue general. If we're simply talking about stats, then Genghis wins. But stats aren't the only thing that matters in the game. They do matter, in the case of Julius the walking ambulance, but in Suri's case, her skills elevate her to pretty much the best cavalry general, and only Attila has the skillset to challenge her. Her stats are even deceptive due to Inspiration, and she can keep her own attack sky high thanks to cavalry commander.

With some new items like a Golden mask, for example, Edward is perfectly able to survive in most uncomfortable circumstances. And he still has Leadership at his disposal. But in 12-general missions to deploy four Commanders is definitely possible. That is still a negative for Edward, although boosting his defense is a way to alleviate that problem. He still has his cavalry commander, so he'll be valuable due to that. 4 cavalry commanders sounds good, along with 4 archer commanders. Realistically tho, it's hard to utilize that. 2 commanders is good enough for most missions, washington hitting an archer boss with a 13k scarlet flash crit thanks to 2 archer commanders is a scene to behold. Pacha and Nelson will definitely be in my team eventually, i want to see how hard Washington's scarlet flash can hit. A Mask provides Edward (or any other general) not only with an increased defence, but also a solid healing per turn. I agree that it is quite unrealistically to deploy 4 Commanders of the same type most of the time, but in many hard mode battles it is relatively easy to do, because we have 12 generals and quite often open battlefields. Besides, since many Commanders are gray and blue, it won't ruin our budget as well.

Maybe after Nelson, since Suri, Hannibal and Attila is enough in terms of cavalry damage. That just means you need to pick your fights with Edward, and let the archer, infantry or bravery boys deal with the archers. But yeah, i'll get Edward. Shame his 6 star skills is upgraded assault and not plunder or destroy. That would have been great.

Great damage against infantry means that there are more easy targets for Attila and Edward than for Suri or Blucher. Attila and Edward refill their rage bar more quickly than any other generals.

Great damage against infantry means that there are more easy targets for Attila and Edward than for Suri or Blucher. Attila and Edward refill their rage bar more quickly than any other generals. That's true as well. In fights where you face multiple bosses( like ragnarok), Edward becomes less useful, but leadership will still deliver. Pretty sure Genghis and Hannibal could refill their bars quickly as well. That said, once cavalry commander activates, it becomes overkill. Ideally, that's what would happen of course. Still, i would have prefered destroy over assault despite your argument. It would be more synergistic with leadership, and it would boost his survival a lot, as even if he can kill 6 enemies around him, if some of those targets hit hard and there are no allies to help, then he'll end up take quite the damage. Attila good tho.

I can see, although I strongly disagree with Suri being equal to Genghis, but no cav comes close to being near Napoleon. It is just a class difference. Artillery will always win. And her stats suck. Even with her skills, I don't think she herself could match Genghis.

Maybe she's around the level of Suleiman in my eyes, at least right now.

Ah! I'm not quite about Blucher supremacy now, but I think Blucher can have more attack than Suri (someone please factcheck this), but since I don't know the impact morale has on attack, I can't figure it out. Interesting. My question really is "Which order to spend my medals, upgrade my generals, or get Blucher and upgrade him?". Iron Duke suggested the former, and 5* Nelson would be a big improvement, but I can't upgrade en masse. I think I will focus on upgrading members with debuffs for my planned ArchCom-DebuffSpam team first and then I will focus on Blucher. We pretty much have the same team. I'd say focus on upgrading leadership to level 6, then use your medals to upgrade ranks of your generals. If you're still in gunpowder and are quite close to industrial, i'd save them for upgrading rank. Awakened Suri is a beast. She doesn't hit as hard as attila against infantry, but she can match his damage against other unit types thanks to inspiration being constantly up. She's cheap to upgrade as well, around 1.7k medals to max all her skills. Compared to other generals where 1.7k is just enough for 1 skill, or not even enough. I'm considering pachacuti as a secondary team member, even without being awakened, he still has archer commander, and he's cheap. With Jhansi,Li, Pachacuti and later on Nelson, Nobby and Washington will be destroying everything. Suri is definitely an interesting choice. She probably won't make my final team for the time being, though, as I have Attila for an aura.

As long as you put Blucher above Suleiman (Blucher should always be above Suleiman in rankings IMO), than I have no problem with that.

If Genghis had cav commander, he'll be up there. He's great with bottle of life, but so is every other general. He has bravery, but do does Suri. Basically, he's like Washington,if Washington didn't have effective damage against everything and logistics. Great thanks to his stats, but in terms of team contribution, he's replaceable. Attila can do what he does, and he costs less. I would say this: genghis is artifact reliant, while suri is item set reliant. Still need to keep her hp up, as her def is fine with inspiration, and atk is enough once her cav commander is up. But not as reliant as Genghis with Bottle of life. It's basically an argument between replaceability, cost, price performance, stats, skillset, individual performance and team performance. And the fact that Genghis only wins in stats and individual performance is why he's lower than Suri. The fact that Suri's skillset competes with Genghis stats is something. And even in individual performance, she's close thanks to cavalry commander and inspiration bumping up her combat stats. If the game is more single unit focused and stat matter much more, Genghis would have been better. But this is EW5, where team contribution matters more, and a single debuff can cripple your main carry if you try going solo in a difficult mission.

I say that he's Attila-lite because both have Braveness, both have a purple stat skill, and both have great stats, just that Genghis' active is "Meh?"
